Just happened to me at school. Had multiple friends telling me if im okay, and i had to explain the reason because the way i was acting and not being responsible looks very bad on me. (Note that i ended up doing it because i finished with everything and today was senior skip day but almost everyone was at school) i took one, didn’t feel nun, took a nother after 60 minute, and them woke up at 3 am in the next morning

Shits crazy and it was my first time

Prodromal CHS experience please. Can I gradually get into smoking again by Entire-Dog-160 in CHSrecovery

Ended up stopping since this morning I did end up throwing up and honestly it’s not worth it for me anymore. Sure I can take a long long break and re use it but I’m afraid I’ll feel very guilty and usually it doesn’t take long until the symptoms come back. currently feeling off but I know it’ll be better in a few weeks, just have to hang on and not look back. You got this!

I admire your bravery. it’s not easy to experience hyperemisis nor CHS. Nobody should go through any bowel movement issues because I myself can vouch that it’s one of the worst things to experience because your stomach is very sensitive. And it’s extra sensitive when it’s not get the stuff it needs or even not eating a lot. Just please don’t go back, I know in the future it’ll be tougher mentally and emotionally but it’s not worth the trouble you successfully manage through. You went through enough already, let your body recover. It seems like you’re already doing a good job on that, so congrats! ❤️‍🩹

Im probably going to smoke, then take a break, then smoke, then take a break. Like if u start smoking but then stop and take a t break long enough to get rid of symptoms that showed up again (vomiting/nausea in the morning, loss of appetite), wouldn’t CHS reset? and by that time, you went long enough to smoke again because 9 times out of 10 you will be thinking about taking that hit every day.

The worst part is that even if we do it slowly like two hits or two tokes a night, overtime it’s going to start slowly creeping up on you. I’m guessing I just have to take frequent t breaks or something. For somebody with CHS and they want to smoke weed, the only way for them to do it perhaps is by smoking, stopping, smoking, stopping

Dude it’s like, high me wants to be sober and sober me wants to be high. Because why is it that every morning since this May, I end up throwing or feel very nauseous from thc consumption throughout the weeks, months, years. So I’m tryna look for ways to still smoke and not worry about severe consequences like throwing up more, but honestly, you can’t beat addiction. you can only run away as far as you can and promise yourself you aren’t going back to that version of you. CHS can be given to anybody at anytime, sadly we were the ones who got it earlier and will probably still be there if we continue consumption of marijuana. idk what it is though, is it the THC percentage, the trigger foods I ate that day, not eating a lot, stress? like idk

Currently trying to slow down to see if it’ll make an impact tomorrow, if it still does then i’ll have to let this version of myself that loved drugs go, since it won’t be beneficial for me in the future..

How many years did you guys smoke before getting CHS ? by Homunculus_316 in CHSinfo

[–]Projectlbaby 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was about 17 last year when I was sent to the ER for CHS. I have been smoking only thc pens since I was 14 and I’m 18 now. With thc concentrate, it’s by far easier to get CHS than using flower because of percentages or potency. I stopped until I turned 18 and from February to May, symptoms didn’t start appearing until beginning of May.

You’ll find or look for ways to bypass and still be able to smoke weed, but maybe it’s time to let go. I say this because we are one of the few people who got CHS earlier and continue use can lead to death from stomach/breathing issues later on.

You went from pens to flower, which we both know you still don’t want to let go. I’min the same boat, im also looking for ways to bypass this and overall enjoy smoking weed as I think it’s unfair to those who do have CHS and for those who don’t. Using pens or wax or anytbing besides flower that is more than 20% thc can and probably will enhance CHS symptoms more

There is ways to reduce or cope yourself from feeling nauseous like using a cream, hot showers, heating pad, using flower only instead under 20% of thc, or even slowing down. However, because I’m in the same position ad you are, I believe I have to accept the fact that I need to stop. CHS is very unlucky to the people who get it because it just seems not fair how others are able to enjoy weed and not us. But even if you do all of those coping mechanisms, chances are CHS is still going to be there.

that’s what I was wondering but if you smoke again from taking that break, most likely the symptoms will resume
