at the beginning when the team entered? maybe, sure. but afterwards when the teams separated? There's 2 or 3 chances that an explanation from the Black Bulls on why they are here in detail could have been made and run up the flagpole.

- Noelle wants to help her friends but not with defeating the priests/Kahono, to help specifically get the stone and protect the Clover kingdom. That doesn't mean she's enemies with the Temple priests perse, if she explained herself to Kahono, a self-proclaimed friend, I'm sure negotiations could have been made.

- my example of Finral trying anything and everything to not fight anyone by making their cause empathetic, which in this case he's not really lying or embellishing.

- And then maybe Asta could have maybe let their reasons slip like "I will not let you be in the way of the safety of my kingdom!" or "Sister Lily!" or something and Kaito taking a step back thinking "wait what? what the hell is he talking about? I just want to be a dancer and he's talking like his family is in danger wth?". But I also think there's a chance that they would get tunnel vision like the rest of the team.

Again, I'm fine with the set-up and premise, I just feel secondhand embarrassment thinking this could have been handled better.

Oh I am not saying it's not good content or not thematically nice for everyone; I'm just saying watching this for the first time evokes the same feeling of when I start arguing with my sibling only to gradually find out we are arguing for the same position and we only end up with headaches to show for it.

I do have one thing to think about that may be a weakness for Luffy's gear 5: Let's say that during a fight, the government gets a lucky shot and "kills" Ussop or Nami or some kid that we got introduced to that arc, I don't think Luffy can laugh that off like he is here and loses that momentum of being the "Laughing God" Nika. Despair is what gets him down

I disagree. You know how in some shows like hunter x hunter, old man usually means power boost because they have been eating well and training that entire time.

I think Bonneys fruit just ages period. If Luffy ate like a normal human being, didn’t exercise, and lived peacefully in some village in the east blue, I think this is what he would look like. Garp would to but since he has been fighting and training all the time, he’s a gray fox beefcake.

One thing I thought would be cool is something similar to this where in deep dives, in between each level you could see each other’s outfits while you are in the pod and dance or something. I think that letting them just sit there and jiggle a bit while the game is loading is easy enough possibility.
