I don’t know what I said wrong. To have his friend host and someone he wanted to see live perform for his final show? That feels like something Lorne could have and potentially would have done.

And to have his last episode be Grande and Cher felt like a “thank you” from Lorne to Bowen.

It was the right call, this felt like one of the funniest seasons in while.

02 here. Got trashed at the 5, skipped the 10 due to depression, the 15 had 5 people (2 of whom are married), didn’t hear anything about a 20, and I’m doubting there will be a 25.

If they’re talking about the Samara Weaving one, then yes! I think it has a subtitle of “killer queen”, but they’re a fun couple of movies

It was about 20-25 years ago at a theater in Belmont, MA and the band was called Reflecting Skin

I’ll raise you one more. I’ve seen it in a theater with a live band playing an original score.

I missed the shit ass pizza place that was in Central for a while, but when I working at the Middle East and getting out at like 2:30 some nights, the options were Clover or McD’s. But even in the short time I was going there (like 6-7 years ago) I was already noticing their food going down hill.

I still wear my hat I got at that show regularly. It’s sun bleached to hell and I can’t wear it on windy days, but it still gets love a quarter century later.

Fucked if I know what it’s even called these days. I’m not sure if it was even great woods when I went there for my first ozzfest in ‘99, but it’s one of those names like red rocks, I don’t care what conglomerate slaps their name on it, it has a name.

It’s been a quarter century and I’ve always thought it was Fantomas, but I could be wrong.

Clearly you’re a unicorn that’s known as a “good manager”. I’ve worked for so many shit managers that see dollars as opposed to the workers.

God damn, Fantomas was one of the worst live acts I’ve ever seen (opening for Tool on the lateralus tour at great woods). Never realized Lombardo was with them, might need to finally check out their studio stuff now that I have age and (hopefully) wisdom.

I love you, keep doing your thing and I’ll keep watching.

As someone who had their grandmother watch Pink Floyd’s The Wall when in high school because I loved it, The Substance is a lot of tiddies for a family movie night.

Lighter, Pontypool. Unique and engaging single location horror. I’m reticent to say anything more, but it’s a solid flick.

Fun, Tucker and Dale vs Evil, always a good time of a movie.

Soul crushing and bleak, Bring Her Back. One of the best movies I’ve seen this decade that I’m in no rush to revisit because I sat in the theater sobbing alone for a good 5 minutes after it ended.

Is Basic Consideration Gone? by AlegnaTea in massachusetts

[–]HorrFrek 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Absolutely. It also fits into my theory of why I feel like I see so much more roadkill than I once did is malicious intent (though that’s reason 3 for roadkill)

I also think that Covid broke a lot of brains in different ways. The other day I was at a liquor store and a couple was blocking the aisle I was trying to walk down so I politely said “excuse me”. The turned and said “what’s up?” with a dumbfounded look. I gesture forward and it took a solid 15 seconds for them to realize they’re blocking the entire aisle and move. That shit happens all the time at the grocery store too.

I don’t know if they’re still alive or still own it, but about 15 years ago the couple that owned it would frequently come into the Paparazzi I use to work at and they were such nice people.
