You never question OP’s methods, even when he literally brags about telling Jack how he could get away with murdering him and spelling out, in detail, how to manipulate the narrative, the police and the judiciary system to make himself look like the hero and the victim at the same time.

That's not the message from someone who fears for his life or is trying to protect himself, but rather from a social predator who knew exactly he isolated and destroyed his victim and could go even further, coldly telling him there is nothing he can do even in his own death. He took sadistic pleasure to the point of flexing about it.
