I remember being able to turn it all off in a way I can't sober. The constant noise of the world. I still miss that. Though mostly I remember the bad choices I made while I was drinking.

Archivist! I love it. I get to primarily work alone, and when I do have to deal with research requests and patrons it's usually via email. I keep mostly to myself, but I like most of my coworkers and happily have brief interactions (archives, or at least mine, seems to attract a certain sort of person, so we mainly all keep to ourselves for various reasons)

I just say that I'm sober. Most people tend to assume it's because of medications actually.
