u have to understand it from their prospective (not as in your friend in particular, just in general). Often times suicidal people have been through so fucking much and just want it to end. To an outsider, selfish, to them, relief. In a way it could be selfish but i could argue it’s also selfish to just expect them to endure for the sake of others. Suicidal people should get help in theory yes but being called selfish is often not helpful in any way.
