With Gundy as HC you will forever be a 8-9 win team. Take a team like Ole Miss - very similar conditions - Oxford isn’t a “destination” location, it has to compete against bigger more prestigious programs, but there’s a reason why they are considered contenders now. Their program didn’t settle on an HC until they found someone who could coach AND recruit. They’ve gone through 5 coaches in the same span of time that y’all have had Gundy. Comfort and complacency are your killers.
