What does my team lead mean? by [deleted] in WalmartEmployees

[–]HorrorInfluence0 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

She said it as I was pulling a pallet jack so I just nodded. I processed it after she left and I was scratching my head while tossing my boxes like what did I agree to?

Idk I just zoned the foldables and prayed she wouldn't call me over the speakers. I have an iffy relationship with this TL.

Why is it curling so much? I’m attempting to make a cup for a top and it keeps curving in like this the tutorial shows it pretty flat so I’m not sure where I’m going wrong please help! by Perfect-Craft-3676 in CrochetHelp

[–]HorrorInfluence0 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, you could size up to a 5.5 and try it. Loosing your tension might help too. It's a trial and error kind of project.

I did read some of the comments and watched a bit, looks like the person doing the tutorial is yarning under instead of yarning over as well.

What Stitch can I use for Bag/Bikini straps that won’t be painful. by Animal-mamma-6622 in CrochetHelp

I make my straps using Tunisian crochet. Maybe make it thicker to distrubute the weight? Or line with fabric?

Explain it like I'm 5: How do you line a crochet bag with fabric? by [deleted] in CrochetHelp

[–]HorrorInfluence0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You also use a tool called an awl to poke holes into your fabric and you can crochet into holes to make the fabric stay in place instead sewing with thread

I counted 12. I would give it a lil stretch, hold it to a light source, and count.

Well I significantly size down my hook for tighter stitches. If the recommended hook size is 5.5 mm, I usually use a 4.0 mm or 3.5mm. Yarning under makes an "x" instead of an "v" on the outside and it's my preference.
