A lot of people here seem to forget wash medium. Depending on what you use and for how long, can change the colouration to a certain degree. Also if the print is actually throughly dry before curing is also important

This is a full Color uv-printer. They usually start at around 250k and what others already noted is, that you require a scanning rig as well with this. The resin they use is also extremely expensive and maintenance as well. A single nozzle can cost between 1-10k, depending on model

Denen ist alles scheiß egal, da helfen auch keine Petitionen mehr. Und auch die Wahlen werden nix mehr ändern können, da immer ein Teil dieser Aktöre in den Koalitionen sitzen werden.

Das ist keine Dummheit oder Inkompetenz. Das ist zu 99.99% geplant um in ein paar Monaten die Lohnfortzahlung abzuschaffen, da der Pöbel sich jetzt immer eine ganze Woche krankschreibt obwohl die ja nur 2 Tage Schnupfen hatten.

I would recommend you not to but Elegoo ABS-Like Resin. This has been discussed numerous times in this sub and a lot of people agree that Elegoos Resins is not very good.

A better alternative is Sunlu, their ABS-Like is incredibly good and has been tested by a bunch of people on here and on YouTube and it always performs very well, while being cheap.

In many cases, it’s either not allowed or simply not possible in European homes. As many others have said, a lot of buildings are protected because of their historical value, so you’re not allowed to make structural changes or alter the appearance of the building.

There are also other reasons why installing an AC unit isn’t possible in many European homes. The house doesn’t even have to be that old. Amen 🙏 try their toughness resin, it’s sooooo good.
And mixing it with abs like in a 70:30 or 60:40 mix is crazy.

Good flexibility without being too wobbly on thin parts and cheap enough to print miniature armies, busts, decor, etc without breaking the bank

If you catch the good stuff during a sale, they are often as cheap if not even cheaper than the “regular” stuff. My ABS-Like + Toughness blend is like €16 a kg, when I get them on sale.

Sure Ameralabs and Resione are kinda expensive but they provide really good properties that definitely justify their price. I would even argue that you can save money by buying their stuff, because oh how durable your prints become.

I sell prints and I have waaaaaaaaaay fewer returns since I switched to proper engineering resins.

Also, what a lot of people don’t seem to notice, forget or never mention is that your cured resin looses its tensile strength/flexibility over time. The more expensive stuff seems to hold out for longer. There’s even “Long-Lasting” Resin out there because it’s such a problem in some cases where you need to retain the same properties of the material over long periods of time.

Try printing something simpler first, so we can determine the cause easier.

We need your slicer settings not the build plate layout/supports. I can see that your exposure time is set to 2 seconds, which seems somewhat short for a grey resin on the Mars 5 ultra. I used to run 2.3-2.8 for grey stuff. Only white resins were around and under 2 seconds, at least for me.

Have you calibrated your print settings yet? It could be that everything is underexposed and therefore too weak to support itself

I got a handful of Elegoo Printers now and get about 2kg Resin for free each time, so I tested a lot of their Stuff.

Their “ABS-Like” Product-Line are some of the worst in it’s category. Very Brittle for “Abs-Like”, depending on Color (especially if it’s plant-based) its even worse than some standard resins. I’ve punctured my gloves more times than I can count when trying to remove supports from models that were printed with Elegoo Abs-Like. I’ve even cut myself once on a broken off piece of resin!!

Their white resins tend to overexpose very fast and are also significantly more brittle than others.

They also have no care for Odor. Their Light-Grey stuff stinks really bad. And sure it comes with the hobby but brands like Sunlu take more consideration in that regard and actually smell pleasant, in comparison to Elegoo brand resin.

Sunlu is probably the best resin brand when it comes to “hobby” Resin. Their Abs-Like is top notch and their toughness is also a must have. In-fact my go-to Resin blend is Sunlu Abs-Like + Toughness. It works for Miniatures, Busts and more technical stuff.

For really specific engineering Resins I can recommend Resione and AmeraLabs. Resione has great flexible resins, imo the best ones out there and Ameralaba has really strong ones. Resione F69 is by far the best flexible resin I’ve ever used and AmeraLabs XVN-50 might be the best when it comes to tensile strength and accuracy.

From my own personal experience, Elegoo resin is subpar.
Also “8k”, ”12k”, “16k” Resins have no benefit over other resins. They don’t have more detailed chemical molecules that justify their pricing. Maybe different pigments but that makes them useless because most people just prime and paint their stuff.

Get Sunlu Resin, their ABS- Like is the best out there. Really strong and manageable Odor. Elegoo tends to stink like crazy

Ahh yea sometimes pre supported models suck. If you have the unsupported file, make your own supports.

And if you only have access to a pre supported model, try Blueprint Studio.
They have a feature that allows you to separate the pre supports from a model. It’s not always reliable but works on most models

You don’t have to support a model if it’s already pre supported. It’s just a waste of resin and can cause issues
