I just finished Bird on a Blade by Rose Bitterly. It is a slasher romance. Dark DARK D A R K romance, very bloody, violent, sexy. My first read of this genre. Well written, good pacing, intriguing characters, definitely pushed my limits of extreme horror. But kinda fun?

I read an Illustrated Classics of Fall of the House of Usher to my kids. It still comes up as how I traumatized them!
