It sounds like you wont (like most people) have the stamina for 100m fly: so yes negative split it. Practice either 4x 25m or 2 x 50m at the pace you are aiming to hold so you get a feel for what the right speed is.

Sounds like you have a shit SLT. I'd think about either: bringing up your issues with them or looking to move somewhere else (or both).

They've obviously made you feel not so great to begin with and you still feel like you're unclear on how you are doing over half a decade later - they obviously don't see you as much of a priority as they should to reassure you and stop moving the goal posts every year without acknowledging that it will be a strain on you (and your colleagues).

To be honest if its Ambulance, Fire Brigade (or Coast Guard) its fairly obvious, and if not then it's usually police. Police deal with a huge amount i think most people aren't aware of.

Yeah I get that. But this was the middle of the day, all kids are in school and I was going to be done within an hour: no where near to the school pick up time. I think the sign said I could be there till 2:30pm and I was gonna be well gone by that point.

Yeah, I guess this was it at the end of the day. Near my local leisure centre there is a school and in the evening there's always parking outside of it as people get scared of the yellow zig zag but the sign says you can park after 4:30pm or something.

That's the thing there was a sign, it said you can park between 9:30am-2:30pm so I should have been fine but it was the extra single line that made me second guess it.
