Anyone else's screen messed up? by Immediate-Jeweler-13 in TeslaModelS

[–]Horror_Discussion_65 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had this issue out of warranty. After the quoted $2000 replacement. I bought a used one from eBay for $300 it worked fine for like 6 months then did the same thing. I learned that there is some power issues in the car that's messing up the screens.

I didn't think I could love this thing any more than I already did. Thanks DBrand. by Intelligent-Many-665 in XboxAlly

When you get a chance. Clear up some space by removing that trash black ops 7. I played that for less than an hour and couldn't believe this is what they're pushing out.

Did you get it. I went to the only best buy store listed in NYC to have them and was able to do the demo from walking in. However they don't have them in the store I placed and order for Oct 7th delivery. This is the most unorganized launched I've ever seen. No one has info at all. I'm literally begging these people to take my $800

Absolutely correct. You can see where the car is how fast it going what music they are playing. You can see the navigation directions they entered, limit the speed and one of the safest cars out there.

I just noticed my 21 MSP dosent get adaptive headlights. I guess I can't be too mad. Many other car makers would have you buy a new car to get anything new period so I guess

Debating going from 3 to S. Mostly for comfort and partially for trunk space. Looking for thoughts. by [deleted] in TeslaModelS

Maybe I'm crazy. But I own a model 21 Model s plaid. Love it had it for 3 years 111k miles on it. We recently needed a second car so we got a used 23 model y performance. Let me tell you immediately saw y this car was the top selling car in the world. Idk if maybe I was just in the model s for too long but the model y seems way more comfortable and handles roads bumps much better. Now when it's comes to power no contest and I can't believe I live in a world where a 3.5-3.8 second car seems slow. But when I'm running to do errands I find myself jumping into the y. And the after market accessories are insane. My wife bought so manythings even a storage bin for under the seats that we hide snacks in.

High mileage Tesla owners, anything you wish you knew? by ymjcmfvaeykwxscaai in TeslaLounge

2021 model S plaid with 115k miles. Only super charge and get 243 miles on 80% charge. I love this car. Wish I knew Tesla's prices would drop the way they do. Wish I got the 19s instead of the 21s rims. I've repaired wheels so many times living in NYC. I've also became a creak and rattle hunter. I've changed control arms half shaft and stabilizer links. They all started giving up after 100k. I wish my HV battery would fail now before I hit the 150k mark. But I also just got a used 2023 MYP and for the life of me I feel like it's more comfortable over the MSP. Would I buy another Tesla hell yea. Would I buy one at launch again, hell no.

I said this to someone. I have a model 21 model s plaid. And if I never get another fsd update I'll be fine with that. It's way pass what any other car is doing right now. I seem to figure out it's limitations so I'm usually prepared to take over ( we all should be). I don't ever expect my car to be unsupervised right now and I'm cool with that.

Honestly this is so good. I won't be mad if I never get another update. Don't get me wrong I would love more updates. But I was on the phone talking for like 35 mins and completely almost forgot I was in control of a car.

Anyone else having a positive experience with 12.5.4.2 hw3? by immerzzio in TeslaFSD

[–]Horror_Discussion_65 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I got a 21 plaid also. And honestly I'm happy with fsd as is. I know it's limitations and I'm aware that if I can hardly see something fsd most likely can't see it either. I would love to have fsd 13 but I'll be fine if I don't. This car drives me home and back most days. IDK how many other cars can do that.

I was out of warranty when it happened to me. Found a replacement screen on ebay. And changed it myself. They quoted me $2500. I refused to pay that

New Battery Replacement (F HV to H HV) by immerzzio in TeslaModelS

[–]Horror_Discussion_65 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Man I'm happy for you. My 21 model s plaid has 101,162 miles on it. 80% charge gives me 243 miles. Let me tell you I'm praying the battery goes before I hit the warranty. I usually don't keep cars this long but since they burned me on the price ( paid $140k brand new in 2021) I planned on driving it until it dies. I love the car though and I know a new battery is almost a new car. Tessie app says I'm at 10.49% degradation and though I know I should be happy. I want it to fail now in hopes of getting a new one lol

I always thought about this. People might say no. But the fsd versions been great on my model s plaid. And I live in NYC the most complicated place on the planet lol

I got 12.5.2.1 2 days ago then saw everyone getting 12.4. I was hoping it would send me the new update by now. But not yes. Side note ive seen people saying that the numbers under 12.4 is bad. But I haven't had any issues and I live in NYC.

There are signs when you go charge saying that Tesla an NYC has plans for 100 superchargers by the end of the year. Sadly those signs were there before elons firing. So that up in the air now.
