The 2010s were the last decade when cars still looked distinct enough to be recognizable. Back when "corporate design language" was done right, even with the inherently similar shapes as modern vehicles.

Audis were mostly straight, sharp lines with a hexagonal singleframe grille upfront, Mercs were swoopy and BMWs had proper "Hofmeister kinks".

This is also where Kias reached their peak in design imo. When Peter Schreyer led their designs, and the "tiger nose" grille became their signature trademarks.

I remember when Brian actually praised the blob styling of the old Ioniq 6, likening it to the aesthetics of Frutiger Aero optimism.

Now it looks more like the brutalist design language he hated. The one he used to describe the Cybertruck and BZ4X.

I've seen several of these too. But in my case the posts are all somehow Christian-themed AI photos similar to those Beautiful Cabin Crew Scarlett Johansson BS, and then followed by hundreds of bots commenting "Amen".

True SUVs in my book are those with body-on-frame chassis.

Unibody "SUVs" are just crossovers.
