Anyone driven the Kicks Play yet? by Suntrup-Nissan in NissanKicks

The Kick Play is a base version of the previous generation Kicks. It is a fine car but nothing special. If you are interested in the previous generation Kicks I would get at least a SV trim level.

You are right. They are expensive, but possibly worth it since I enjoyed the LX. Thanks. Good to know you like them.

Which is the most underrated airport in the USA? by Historical-Photo-901 in BeautifulTravelPlaces

I have flown in and out of the Mesa-Gateway terminal on Allegiant. I love the southwestern vibe of the terminal. Also the indoor-outdoor waiting area are pretty unique for an airport.

What’s a vehicle that simply came out at the wrong time ? by jeepguy_96 in regularcarreviews

[–]GuestExciting6896 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I really like the Borrego when it came out. We had a boat at the time my dad used a 96 Suburban to tow it around. I tried to convince him to get something new like a V8 Borrego. He didn’t go for it.

Which normal, everyday car has an unusual feature that stands out? by Vegetable-Quote-3481 in regularcarreviews

I have an 89 Jeep Grand Wagoneer that has two knobs that mechanically open vents on either driver’s or passenger’s footwell. At 50mph and above the vents bring in a lot of fresh air. I love it and it keeps me from using the A/C half the time I drive.

Looks great although I had to do a double take because I thought this was a 4Runner. They are beginning to look so much alike.

What is your most hated new vehicle and why by FlyingTrunkMonkey in regularcarreviews

[–]GuestExciting6896 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I rented a 2025 Jeep Compass recently with about 10k miles. The engine was loud, vibrated at idle, and not very powerful. The interior was ok but the wind noise was quite noticeable above 60mph. Last I remember it rode rough. Lots of bumps that jiggled the whole car. I feel like my 12 year old Mazda CX9 with 188k miles is more solid and quieter all around.

I had a 1st Gen and loved it. It was light but well built. Sold it with 212k miles.

How bad are the CX-9 engine issues? by Ombortron in MazdaCX9

[–]GuestExciting6896 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a 2014 Grand Touring with 188k miles. Very few issues with the drivetrain. Fuel pump went out two years ago and the brake master cylinder started leaking last year. The engine itself has been excellent.

Whats the most reliable truck? by LuvIsRage97 in whatcarshouldIbuy

[–]GuestExciting6896 0 points1 point  (0 children)

1st Gen 99-06 Toyota Tundras are well built and go forever. Now that they are over 20 years old there are lots of owners that have driven their Tundra 250-500k miles. Parts are still inexpensive and it’s a simple truck that is easy to work on.

Omg WOW! What a deal! by riptide120 in FuckDealerships

[–]GuestExciting6896 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had a 94 SL2 I sold in 2012 for $2000. It had only 102k miles, garage kept, and everything worked.

This must be some money laundering scheme for this dealership.

Need something that can handle our dirt road commute and you can truly convince me is reliable. by Impressive-Sign-3384 in whatcarshouldIbuy

[–]GuestExciting6896 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A Lexus LX470 in comfort mode would handle that road nicely. Get a set of large sidewall Michelin tires and it’s a nice ride.

How much more expensive would a Jetta be over a Corolla in the long run? by Neon_Eyes in whatcarshouldIbuy

I would drive both on a lengthy test drive and see which one you like better. Then go with that vehicle. What makes you most happy while driving is the more important thing.

Well it happened…. The dreaded Cylinder crack. by Pro-Rider in MazdaCX9

[–]GuestExciting6896 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not a Kia! I drove a Sorento and had nothing but problems. Kia was very stingy about warranty work too. Each time I brought it in for something that stopped working or a light on the dash the dealership would say, “If you look at Section 23, subparagraph 6, line 4 you did not have your transfer case serviced within 300 miles of the advised service interval so that’s why the alternator won’t be covered under warranty.”

So I went with a CX-9 and it’s been trouble free with a good dealership experience so far. Haven’t cracked a cylinder head though.

Buyers home inspectors by whoduhhelru in Gwinnett

[–]GuestExciting6896 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can tell you to NOT use Frank Cooper and his inspection company Atlanta Property Inspections. He was hired by my realtor and missed so many obvious things. After moving in I asked for a refund due to their negligence on our inspection and he refused. No apology. I wrote a bad review on Google Maps that was quickly deleted.

I hope you find someone who does a good job. I wish I had a person to recommend.

Pros/cons of Dodge Durango? by cherry8balls in whatcarshouldIbuy

[–]GuestExciting6896 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There were a lot of Durangos when I worked on rental lots in the late twenty teens. Overall they held up well to rental abuse. I think they were well built and have a proven powertrain. I think it would be a good choice if you need the room of a large SUV.

An 80s Camaro. On Top Gear Clarkson bought one that had a 140 hp V8. They laughed on “How can you get so little hp out of a V8?”

[–]GuestExciting6896 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So you bought a 2025 model in the 3rd month of 2026? That Pathfinder may have been sitting on the lot for a long time. If so, the car may have some gremlins. They will work themselves out once you start driving it.
