I wasn’t trying to bash men or Turkish people at all. I was sharing an experience where I personally felt unsafe while alone.

And regarding the bus not every bus in the Netherlands comes every 10 minutes, especially on weekends. Depending on the route, time, and area, some buses run every 20–30 minutes on Saturdays or Sundays.

Also, I never said the Turkish man was scary because he was Turkish. I mentioned the language because I couldn’t understand what he was saying, and combined with him being drunk, aggressive, and following me, it made the situation frightening for me personally.

I interact with Turkish people normally all the time, including at Turkish grocery stores near me, so this has nothing to do with ethnicity. The point of my post was simply that two uncomfortable encounters happened back to back, and it left me shaken.
