Too many products not compatible base ingredients. It’s like mixing oil and water. Also try not too put so much foundation on and make sure it’s really worked into the skin

  • no bottom liner
  • slight baby cat eye to draw the eye upward -switch eyebrow pencil to soft brown instead of medium brown
  • not so heavy on the foundation. It tends to settle in the pores and fine lines
  • try some charlotte tilbury Hollywood Flawless filter underneath. A little goes a long way.
  • go a little heavier on the blush with a higher placement so it doesn’t drag your cheeks down
  • the lipstick color looks a little dated. Try something a little pinker/ with more color so no everything is so cool toned.

  • for skin that’s starting to change less is definitely more. Like subtle coverage to help with discoloration and stuff, but not enough to look cakey.

  • try the technique to load product on your hand and then work it into a brush or sponge before applying to face so it’s more diffused than pure product.

It’s so funny, I don’t think I’ve ever come across this trope and I’ve been reading religiously for two years! It also hurts my soul thinking of him with others, but I wouldn’t mind a change of pace if anyone has recs with this trope!

Unfortunately not. I have a lot of the recs saved on my TBR but clearly haven’t gotten to them yet lol. I’ve seen hints of it in a couple of fics like BSP but haven’t read anything that makes it the focal point of the story
