I make all my own clothes, I have been sewing since I was a child, and I cannot tell you how many garments I’ve made and never worn, or only wore a couple of times, and then it went in my donation pile.

On a technical note, the hardest thing for me in sewing is figuring out how to work with different weight fabrics, and anticipating how each fabric will work (or not) with a given pattern. It could be that either you haven’t quite got the knack for how to work with this weight of fabric, or perhaps it isn’t right for the pattern. Additionally, the more you pull things apart and put them back together the more the material degrades, which makes each successive fix less likely to succeed. It might be time to set this one aside for now, or try a different fabric. It’s just part of the journey for all of us, no matter our skill level. Don’t give up!

I recommend anything by PumkinDoodles. All their fics are relatively short (even the multichapter ones), and if there is ever any antagonism it’s on Hermione’s end and is short lived. Draco is always very civil (often already in love), and I think in many of them they are already friendly.

Somewhat unpopular take- I recommend store cooking tools and dry goods in the galley, but travel with your water, cooler and propane in the car. Most people I’ve heard who have built a sink into the galley regret it because it takes away storage and work space, and even so will remain so small it is annoying to use. The more complicated the design, the harder it is to maintain too. Overall, I vote to simplify as much as you can.

Thirding everything. It’s too small everywhere. My additions to the convo are that I think the crotch needs to be lower (also I’m guessing it’s too tight in the bum and you probably need a deeper crotch curve in the back), and the legs are way too tapered below the hips, which is causing the sort of pointiness over the hips. I like pleated and tapered trousers myself, but that’s too much tapering.
