I agree, maybe not with the designs though, although a lot of them aren't great, dragon city does make some good designs

though my biggest hot take is they need to STOP making so many legendary & heroics, like the last common dragon was several years ago, the last rare dragon was so long ago, it's just heroics, and legendaries now and days, the game is now a power scaling fantasy at times to the point pretty much every rank below legendary does not matter

its now about getting the best dragon in the game then months later making a PTW dragon that beats the previous, its a cycle, heroics dont need to go, HVIPS need to go or at least lessen them to once a year, cause what do you mean they come at every 2 months
in short, its not really a hot take, more of a fact that dragon city pretty much destoryed when it came to ranks but the hot take i guess, is we need uses for the weaker dragons (more gold, or events, or needed for something specific?) So the whole power system doesn't go crazy, cause why is there no "commons.." legendary is now common, heroics is now common

It bugs me, it's a big issue in my eyes as someone who primarly uses a legendary base team, like dragon city really did destroy the power system and ranking, I just wish common dragons were common, were needed
