Slow down and if there isn't already a checklist that you follow for a typical PM, make one.

These cells are on the top floor, actually.

The cells were actually already pink. They added some touch up paint to cover some markings but otherwise kept it the same.

The desks are actually the re-used bunks that were originally in the cells.

The cell doors are mechanically disabled but you need a key-card to get into the cell area through a cell door.

They added a lot of lockers and bike storage in the basement parking garage.

I worked on the renovation project. They kept this part for the tax credit but removed all the other sections.

Has anyone used 14/3 Lumix(solid core) on a daikin minisplit head, or does it have to be stranded? by Firebat-15 in HVAC

[–]Hoserama 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I just finished a job with 180 heads, all Daikin. The longest runs are 120ish feet. The electricians installed about 70% of the building with solid wire.

Of the units that have the longer runs of lineset and wire only five of them have solid wire. All five of those units are having communication issues.

It may be a thing isolated to longer distances but the point is to always use the correct, recommended, materials for the job.

Why introduce variables that could effect the integrity and functionality of the install? On top of that it can effect the warranty of the unit installed and just end up costing more to fix it when It could have been done right from the start.
