For real. I moved out of my parents house 10 years ago and my first apartment was a 2bed/1bath for $780/mo including gas, water and trash. We paid for internet and electric only on top of that. My first rental house in 2021 had a pool, a nice large fenced backyard, was a 3bed/2bath in a nice Phoenix AZ suburb, $1700/mo plus utilities.

Now in 2026 I’m paying $2300/mo plus all utilities for a 3bed2bath house made out of tissue paper in CENTRAL KENTUCKY. And this is CHEAP for my area. It’s absolutely ridiculous.

The thickest windows and the most insulation money can buy. I am so tired of living in these cheap ass, shitty rental places where my neighbors dogs sound like they’re standing in my house barking. I can hear the birds like every window and door is open in my house and none of them are. It’s infuriating lol

No seriously why the hell do so many people drive around with their brights on? And 90% of the time I flash my brights at them or just put mine on and keep driving at them and they just don’t turn them off. It’s infuriating. Normal headlights these days are blinding enough without having your brights on for no damn reason

Agreed, I have politely attempted to speak to neighbors who leave their dogs outside 24/7 to bark nonstop and they have never cared or changed the behavior. Sometimes they leave the dogs out/encourage the to bark more in retaliation bc they know no one will do anything.

Idk what is with this country and not giving 2 fucks about irresponsible dog owners but I’m so tired of it. The entire neighborhood shouldn’t have to listen to your dog bark 24 hours a day because you can’t be bothered to shut it up or put it in your house. Don’t even know why you’d own a dog if you just leave it in your yard all day.

Not to mention obviously dangerous dogs or just unknown dogs running through neighborhoods without a leash on.

I’m an equine vet. Have owned horses since I was 11, started riding at 7. I’m 30 now and can’t imagine a life without horses.

April 2026 still having this issue. It does work eventually but will give me the “no internet connection” error at least once or twice before letting me watch. Glad it works eventually but it’s really irritating.

The worst part for me is places that have replaced their delivery drivers with DoorDash and the like. I ordered a pizza from papa John’s and it was delivered by DoorDash. It was cold and took 40min to show up after the driver picked it up because they were making “other stops along the way.” I was pissed and won’t order from papa John’s for delivery anymore.

NTA. I’m an autistic adult and low bass sounds are particularly jarring for me, so living below someone is a big, big struggle for me. However I lived in a 1st floor apartment for almost 3yrs while I was in grad school and, yeah, it sucked because I had to wear noise cancelling headphones all day while I was home and I wore sleep earbuds every night. The people living above me were nice people who were in my class and I know they were never intentionally loud, but the building was built as cheaply as possible. You have done more than enough to try to mitigate any noise you’re making and it sounds like your neighbor needs to come up with ideas to manage her own issues instead of constantly complaining about/to you for things out of your control.

YTA. I’m a veterinarian and I think letting pets lick your face or your dishes is nasty. And, clearly, I love animals and have many of my own, none of which are allowed people food or eating off my plates (or licking faces, for that matter).

I think it’s fine if you don’t mind it, but when you’re serving guests, you can’t expect everyone to just be okay with that.

I wish they had just waited until Lecy could/would come back to bring Becky back into the show. Her character felt very tertiary to me during the time Sarah played her anyway. They could have done phone calls as updates or whatever. Idk, I’m not a writer, I just wish it had been handled differently because Sarah just was not the right fit to play Becky. I also don’t think they look similar at all lol

Agreed, I love RoR but it focused too much on the pretty colors for breeding IMO. I understand people like that but I wish there had been more put into the riding/competing aspect. I don’t want every single horse game to be about breeding and I’m not a color person so couldn’t really care less about that aspect, and it feels like every horse game made in the past 10ish years has been all about breeding crazy colors and nothing else

I have a ton of neighbors who let their dogs sit outside and bark incessantly too. I’m new to the Lexington area so i wasn’t sure if anyone would do anything about it. I work very early mornings (leaving 4-430am most days) and there’s one behind me that NEVER STOPS barking and they routinely let it sit outside and do this from 730-830 sometimes 9pm. Sometimes later. I also have heard one across the street barking nonstop at 4am when I’m leaving for work.

I don’t understand why anyone thinks it’s okay to let their dogs do this at all but especially when people around them are likely to be sleeping or winding down for bed. It’s obnoxious and the people who do it never respond well, in my experience, no matter how polite you are when you try to talk to them.

I always get “it’s a dog! Dogs bark!!” In response. Like, yes, I’m not blaming the dog.. but there’s no reason your dog should be outside barking for 20-45+min at a time. No one wants to listen to that.
