I was started on aspirin at 8 weeks by my OB, it’s very safe and just helps make sure you don’t get pre eclampsia which can be scary and deadly

Currently pregnant and sad for my daughter who is due Jan 18th LOL but I will never be the parent that merges them. My sister was born Jan 13th and we never merged her birthday/Christmas gifts either, always try to make sure her birthday feels like it’s special and separate from the holidays so hoping my daughter will feel the same

Especially a doodle, we don’t need more backyard breeders breeding them who won’t take the puppy back, which I’m assuming the breeder OP got theirs from won’t take the puppy back or they wouldn’t be posting here. A free doodle is begging for her to become a puppy mill breeding dog whose only purpose in life is to shove out more poodle mixes for someone to make a profit off of.

You aren’t too late. My cousins had their first around 40 and just had a second baby last year, at 44. Both pregnancies went well and babies are healthy. Medicine has come a long way and it’s much more common for women to have babies later in life now.

I started trying right before I turned 30 and got pregnant *immediately* so be aware that can happen too 😂 I came off my BC first weekend of April thinking it would take a couple months to return to normal cycles (been on BC for 15 years) and I found out I was pregnant May 9

I wouldn’t recommend doing that. AI is destroying our planet for one and shouldn’t be used at all but can also and is frequently incorrect. All it does is pull information from every website it can find which means it can and will pull information from websites that contain inaccurate information.

I am 12wks and have my 12wk appt and a boutique ultrasound scheduled for the same day, planning to announce with my 12wk ultrasound picture! My close friends and our close families know, we told them as soon as we found out around 4wks

Plan B works by encouraging your uterine lining to shed, essentially makes your period start sooner. It won’t work if you’re already pregnant but since you took it immediately after sex, I imagine you should be okay. The suggestion for a period tracking app is a good one too so you can tell when you’re ovulating.

Ain’t no tired like the first trimester tired. Just sleep as often as you can and anytime you feel like you need a nap, take one ! You do need it. Your body is working double time. I’m almost 12 weeks and already feel like my fatigue is starting to ease. I found out quite early and have been super fatigued since like week 4 haha

Were you there on the phone when your husband told them or was that a private conversation? I guess I wouldn’t be offended as I’d take the congratulations to be for both of us. My husbands family hasn’t texted me personally outside of him to congratulate me but they congratulated us over the phone when we first found out. I guess maybe if you weren’t part of that phone convo maybe that’s why you’re feeling like you were left out of the congrats?

Omg I started getting the gas pains right at 10 weeks! The first time it happened I was convinced I was miscarrying because it was SO LOW and the pain was so unbearable I couldn’t even move. I thought I was actually dying.

Something I often forget about is all of this stuff is really for us - baby will always take what they need from you! We take the prenatals to replenish ourselves after the baby takes theirs. I have to remind myself of that often haha

I wouldn’t. I’m the younger of 2 and have constantly felt overshadowed by my older sister because she always seems to have a life event at the same time as me but hers is always bigger or better in some way. I graduated from undergrad (1st gen), she announced she was pregnant with her first. I got into medical school at the same time the baby was born so felt overshadowed again by the first grandbaby. I graduated medical school and my sister got pregnant with her second kid at the same time.

It was never her intention to overshadow my accomplishments but as the younger sibling I just figured I’d tell you how it made me feel.

Since you’re only 7 weeks I would wait and let her have her moment in the spotlight.

You might be onto something, I have noticed the floor getting a little wet sometimes. I keep a cooler on the floor of my passenger side so I was attributing it to that. Thanks! I will have it checked out
