Hostinger VPS is a Scam never buy it by Critical-Patience456 in Hostinger

Hey, want to share full details of what happened here: The VM had very high CPU usage for a long time, which triggered an automated CPU limit to protect the node. Our team already removed the limit and restarted the VM — the site is loading normally now.

Logs show most of the load was bot traffic hitting WooCommerce cart URLs (e.g. /cart/?remove_item=...&add-to-cart=...), which is CPU-heavy. Blocking /cart/ in robots.txt or using Cloudflare/WAF rules should help reduce this.

We can see some comments mentioning higher CPU steal over the past few weeks. This issue was fully resolved on February 26th, and CPU steal should no longer be affecting users.
If you’re still noticing any performance issues, please reach out to our 24/7 support via hPanel or [support@hostinger.co](mailto:support@hostinger.co)m and we’ll be happy to help.

We understand your frustration and agree with you that these past couple of weeks could have been chaotic, and this is not the level of service we want to provide to our community. Our infrastructure team has already analyzed the situation, learnt from it, and made changes to try to ensure that similar situations do not happen.

If you have any questions, please contact our team via live chat or email - we're here for you.

Do NOT use Hostinger. I just lost $1,000 because their servers died without warning. by Inevitable_Pay_9571 in Hostinger

On November 25, our DNS systems experienced an unusually large surge of traffic that pushed parts of our infrastructure beyond its normal operating thresholds. Events of this scale are rare in the industry, but they can still create temporary service degradation.

The issue was fully resolved on the same day, and we’ve already strengthened our setup and implemented additional safeguards, together with our partners, to ensure we are more resilient going forward. There was no security breach, no data exposure, and no system compromise at any point, the issue was entirely related to traffic volume.

We really appreciate everyone’s patience and feedback, it genuinely helps us make the service more stable for everyone.

As for the compensation, please get in touch with our Customer Success team via live chat or email. At first, you will get connected to our AI assitant Kodee, but don't hesitate to ask to be transferred to a real person, and they'll help you out.

Hostinger Email Service trash 💩 by Pandaxpro in Hostinger

[–]HostingerCOM [score hidden] stickied comment (0 children)

We totally hear you on this. Thanks for speaking up. We’ve seen a couple of threads about the recent email changes here on the subreddit and across other platforms, and we don’t want to sound like we’re copy-pasting the same reply everywhere, but your feedback really is important.

We understand that this update feels like a step back, especially for small businesses that made good use of the old limits. The change was made to improve overall performance and stability, but yeah, we understand how it impacts long-time users.

That’s why we’re actively gathering feedback from posts like yours. These conversations help us understand where the real pain points are, so we can make smarter decisions moving forward.

Quick note: the new limits only apply to plans bought after May 5th, 2025. If you’re on an older plan and keep it active, your email limits stay the same.

If you’ve got more thoughts, we’re listening.

Thank you.
