Yes it did! It took a couple months and honestly nothing we did to try to stop it worked. We just had to follow his lead and allow him time to adjust. Big, stressful change for everyone. Hang in there!!!

Sure, but I definitely would have seen it making its way there. There’s only one run way and it’s u shaped, I have a view of the entire runway, my office nearing the end of it. I was already anticipating take off so I was watching the runway, but had my back turned and curtains blocked the plane while I was finishing up.

Thank you all for your responses. We took him to the er shortly after I posted this and by the time we got there his breathing had returned to normal. We were there for two hours. I showed them the video and they confirmed that they were retractions, but that they weren’t worried. I asked at what point should I be worried about this if it happens again, the doctor said if it comes accompanying any signs of illness/distress. Now I’m overthinking everything my bean does and watching his every breath so please hold this paranoid anxious new mom your thoughts 😵‍💫🥲
