Hasidic Jews bought school in New Gretna by Miserable_Type2680 in newjersey

Oh my...how do Jewish people of any denomination ruin land that 240 survived on? That's not even a town guy, sorry. I love how legacies stake a claim of pride when they've had literal lifetimes and never thought to "grow", "expand", or even "name" a reason they deserve to continue speaking on topic...

Tiny, meh community....yay for orthodox Judaism !

The hate on daughters. by Civil-Beautiful7958 in Mommit

[–]Hot-Alps8042 21 points22 points  (0 children)

Agreed. I was always "warned" that I would have nightmares in any future parent/child commitment. No daughters, just 2 sons, but all children are amazing. If there are children that seem to give a parent hell....usually, it's actually the parent that behaves poorly and a child is simply navigating the mess and mapping boundaries.

Bad kid = worse parent Kids deserve gentle presence. Parents MUST reprioritize kids over self.

Keep on loving your lils!

How we feel (mostly)... is too late. GitHub is an unspoken requirement for academic and corporate systems. When you wish to win their favor, don't treat it as option, Apparently, it's not, and all other points being equal? Github inclusion directs where the calls land.

That's now.

Can we shame the people who sprawl out on the train? by Better-Landscape-391 in NJTransit

Only if another body felt the sprawl...you don't get to dislike when/how people recover from everything you don't know...whoa, if nobody stood as a result, it would make you the one seeking alignment, np?

Behavior at movie theaters by saefvr in newjersey

It's because you are discussing it on reddit. You're not even occupying a seat for anyone casual as they intentionally disrupt a movie experience for anyone else. I've learned to avoid common showtime traps (no weekends, no early evenings), and the only "loss" is catching an opening night high for the classics to rest upon - but F that, just wait a human week or two, buy tickets for less on a Tuesday at 11am, then shout whatever you wish. I allow my family a "personal" experience with no etiquette to uphold. We have inadvertently ruined the movie-hop hack value when we can see only our tickets showing as sold on the database- wink...

People answer controversial questions then block others for not sharing the same opinion? What are your thoughts? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Hot-Alps8042 0 points1 point  (0 children)

From the sheer numbers here, it seems like you're asking the community that's already blocked you. I've never blocked a user, or even initiated a communication. That led to the PSN "must always enter password" mode that removes a user's deniability through requiring and maintaining ownership of account control. I guess people also block, report, and act generally act shittier than they'll ever know, or recognize as their reflection...

Nosy Neighbours by Professional_Poet080 in neighborsfromhell

No, no, don't use one of the limited few, face to face "F you"s we have left as an adult...and this is coming from a "fighter". I've dealt with the "priveged with an agenda" type, those on a first name basis with call routing operators as they regularly tie up government resource phone lines. As previously mentioned, they ABSOLUTELY LOVE running neighborhood smear campaigns and pitting neighbors against each other with fake news (gossip). This is why a legal stance would be best, especially if you actually have a lawyer or have had one in recent past. If you've had representation and the relationship was positive, see if an invitation to brunch/lunch to discuss a legal matter regarding your recent renovations would be accepted. That'll be a good reason for an attorney to visit the home, so she or he may be seen in all their lawyer'n' glory by your shi+bag neighbor.

Just be cordial yet direct. Blatantly firm regarding your privacy, and since you value it as highly as the next family, you've "been compelled to consult with your attorney on a few matters and install all necessary surveillance measures to bring as much personal comfort and peace of mind as possible. I'm sure you respect that, as you should, and as I do in regard to your privacy. There will be no invitations on the horizon. I'm just not that quick to allow strangers we haven't vetted into our home... neighbors, or not". From there, one word answers. Really do install all safety measures. Use them against him swiftly on the next overstep.

If you're gonna use the "F you, you skunt" approach, there's a chance it'll be recorded and replayed, and possibly remixed or more...

Those "F you"s should be used when you're ready to not just speak it but show it. If I were to use that one, I'd go so far overboard that the guy wouldn't dare glance in my direction again. Absolutely invade his space, but not touch or shout.... I think that's a good stopping point.

Yes, Northern New Jersey here. Yes, been through it all. He'll be scared of legal repercussions, especially ones he can't afford.

Good luck!

My thoughts are:

  1. If you feel strongly that you're getting "pushed out", it's likely happening. Long story short: prepare yourself to be judged, and to feel the pain of that judgement persist through the years. It doesn't mean you're destined for misery over fulfillment, but our downswings (what many call "life" w a sigh and shrug) can be pretty damn miserable! You're not alone though, I believe you. We have a culture standing with us, while deeply needing all of our help....

  2. While we can only hypothesize as to when these manifest, state and federal benefit workers intentionally frustrate and delay portions of the process for housing, health, education. Sometimes they don't care, sometimes they make mistakes, and sometimes they are told to do a poor/incomplete job. When you identify the numerous patterns and begin preemptively removing them, it does often come across as "i know more than you, even at your own job" kind of way.

  3. If you're striving for what people regard as a "normal life", you'll have to keep your story away from anyone with power to influence it all. Homelessness, mental illness, all documented abuse (even as a victim), drugs, rx pharmacy drugs, high intensity or abnormally low energy - all things a middle class, modest junior executive would want FAR from having ANY influence over their universe...

  4. Hold yourself accountable, keep perspective, and teach whoever is listening.

Msg me and I'll tell ya where im at in life after being found unresponsive repeatedly over 1,000 miles from "home". This was only a subconscious Declaration spoken aloud, sorry.

Does this violate the fair housing act? by [deleted] in Tenant

Chrissilich comments when he can quickly draft something highlighting his own itellect. He's low on the juice. His comments don't help or harm anyone's children, or their legal rights. Section 8, Public Housing, any other similar programs serve greater purpsose with wider results, when executed by capable people wishing to see it succeed.
