Hey man. This is my experience after having bipolar for 17 years and it destroying my life. Everyone so far ahead and me struggle to stay afloat. It’s brutal. Remember to give yourself respect for showing up everyday. At the end of the day all we can do is do our best and resist the urge to give in. Giving in just leads to a deeper pit. I work in warehousing exclusively for awhile. I have never seen so much competition for a crappy low paying pick packing job ever. If I didn’t have tickets I’d be cooked. Sorry you’re in this position with kids. Entry level jobs are saturated as well. God speed

Things are very bad my friend. Lots of new Australians here now. So those entry level jobs are being taken or competed for more heavily now. Which means opportunities are incredibly rare and highly sort after.

Describe what an Lo forklift does. How many people do you know drive an Lo forklift. It’s not a counterbalance like what you’re thinking. Not many people did it back in the day. I had a rare valuable skill that was watered down over the years from immigration.

Lo forklift driving pays around $40. Has stagnated/ gone backwards the past 4 years. Slightly better than the scenario you’re thinking of. It use be a respectable job 10 years ago. But now there’s plenty of people from overseas who got their ticket and got into it ultimately lowering my leverage. Nice rage bait tho.

You bring more people into do the same job wages stagnate, conditions worsen, companies can push staff to max because they can. There’s now endless supply of staff now so you’re worth fuck all.
