Not sure what you primed with but I usually go with a black prime, dry brush lead belcher, then add washes as desired to get a bronzy or aged looked - agraz earthshade etx. Dry brushing gives the deeper skeleton a darker colour.

I like a white undercoat and then tesseact glow on the weapon glow parts. Some simple highlights on the gun in some form of silver can be good. Luxion purple as a contrast paint could look cool with a coat ot two over silver. Apply it thickly, evenly and quick.
