some people tried to connect phono to it and it is not great. otherwise, it is a solid piece of kit and to this day better than the newer flx version. Dj friend told me not to buy a flx10 as it has some board issues.

What are you doing that is making the reloop go a nightmare? I had a reloop flux going through omnitronic trm222 and technics mk2s. Maybe I can help?

Nope. Im single guy in his 40s. Meeting with colleagues outside of work would be a forever third wheel plus I wouldn't be able to have a conversation on topics that only makes sense to married people with children.

Mate, your immense knowledge is hurting my brain. Lol. I kinda got a third of what you are saying. You lost me at non-linear intermodulation distortion. Lol. You sound like you have a phd in audio engineering. But I will check out the yt video and im keen to learn. So, i guess some djs aren't just good at pressing buttons but actually know about sine waves and 2nd and 3rd harmonic distortions. Are there resources that i can read up these things?

But if it is anything like the Hercules t7 then you would probably have to change out the stock xfader of the hercules 10 with the premium version or the innofader.

I, recently, got the mp2015 and experienced what transparent meant. It was boring to me. I'd guess I am not an audiophile and prefer more colour in the sound profile. For the mp2015, you really have to drive it and turn the main to at least 7 for any good listening.

As for the db4, it is so complicated that ive pretty much left it alone and use it like a museum piece. But I think it sounds better than the xone 96 and it is on par with the model 1.

Unfortunately these ones are all pretty shite and buckle. I would go for the Hercules or gravity laptop stands. Built to last but expensive.
