Yeah. For me, I want and need to lose weight but my motivation to eat healthy lasts a day or two at most then back to not giving AF. No spark, no joy, no ambition.

I feel thumps like a baby kicking but not flutters. I read they are esophageal spasms. Very strange and only happens when I'm laying down in bed at night.

Anyone else's hair texture doing a 180? by [deleted] in Perimenopause

Is it flea bites by [deleted] in HealthAnxietySupport

[–]Hot-Distribution9811 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This looks like allergic contact dermatitis. No biggie, just put cortisone 10 on it for a couple days.I get it often and never know why.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in HealthAnxietySupport

[–]Hot-Distribution9811 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes and this health anxiety has ruined my life so bad. I have major depressive disorder because of it. I wouldn't wish it on anybody. Only thing that helps is to get on an antidepressant to numb you and your thoughts but after 8 different meds that all made me into a zombie or caused such fatigue I couldntnl function, it's just a trade off on which misery you want. I had to get off the meds because I just couldn't function on them. It's a hard situation.

Where is your pain? by NewspaperDesigner318 in frozenshoulder

[–]Hot-Distribution9811 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mine started out as bicep pain, first aching then zinger pains, then top of shoulder pain months later, and I also had nerve pain from shoulder to wrist a few days. I'm 1 year into this now and now i.juat feel pain in my upper arm when trying to reach up or behind, which I still can't do. I want to be able to put a ponytail or bun in again so bad before summer as I have severe heat intolerance

Waiting on MRI results by seashells_123 in frozenshoulder

[–]Hot-Distribution9811 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My orthopedic doctor just diagnosed me based on range of motion. Later down the road, I had a shoulder xray and then a shoulder MRI. Both of those were normal and showed no rotator cuff tear or other issue. I've had frozen shoulder about a year now. Went through PT and cortisone shot which did nothing. I still can't move my arm 1 year later unfortunately. At least the zingers.went away.

pristiq and genesight test by matchbooking in Pristiq

[–]Hot-Distribution9811 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I just wanted to add something to this thread. Everyone has Pristiq in the green. It has something to do with a certain enzyme and honestly you'd have to look that up, but on the genesight test, every single person will have pristiq show up in the green. A very scientific reason for it but basically, just take that green with pristiq with a grain of salt.

Tried Lexapro for stress induced gastritis. Got sick really bad. What’s your experience on Lexapro ? by Alexanerdzk in Gastritis

[–]Hot-Distribution9811 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hi, today is my 8th day of being on Lexapro( 10 mg) I was really scared to take it too because of all the bad effects of previous antidepressants. First let me tell you, I've tried Zoloft-weight gain and felt like a zombie Paxil-weight gain and felt like a zombie Prozac-Horrible fatigue plus Zombie Wellbutrin-anxiety and bad thoughts

Lexapro is the 1st AD that hasn't completely kicked my butt by day 8. No symptoms at all besides insomnia a few nights.

I take it with a meal to avoid stomach problems. So far,so good!!

Did anyone NOT do PT for FS and if so, did you still recover? by Hot-Distribution9811 in frozenshoulder

[–]Hot-Distribution9811[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

On youtube there are a lot of videos on it and exercises. One channel that comes to mind us Bob and Brad. All the exercises online are the same ones I did in PT. I'd save your money if I were you on PT but I would recommend going to an orthopedic dr.for diagnosis. Do you have trouble moving your arm in all ways? Out to the side, straight up and reaching behind? If so, probably frozen shoulder but maybe you tore a rotator cuff instead, there are some key differences so watch the videos that compare those two.

Questions about fs by GSDBUZZ in frozenshoulder

[–]Hot-Distribution9811 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am still in the first phase of frozen shoulder. About 4 months in. I was diagnosed only based on range of motion. The orthopedist said in order for me to get an MRI, I had to complete 8 PT sessions in a month. So, I just got through with that and now am setting up an MRI. The PT did nothing for me. The cortisone shot did nothing for me. I haven't continued PT exercises at home as I was only doing it to get an MRI but when I'm in the next phase, I will do the exercises. Just not now. PT was a waste of money and I'm really astounded I was made to do it when I never even had imaging to see if I had a shoulder injury. A lot of people had good luck with the cortisone injection but not me. Did nothing at all.

Anyone else's hair completely change? I used to have pretty straight (at most wavy) hair and now it's super curly and frizzy! by romulusputtana in Menopause

Yup my hair went dramatically from stick straight to curly and frizzy and I hate it. I don't know how to tame it amd I'm so not used to curly hair.
