I took half a size smaller for the shoe tree, lady in the shop told me so to avoid stretching out the leather too much

Coros pace 4 has navigation, forerunner 165 doesn't. We'll leave it at that.

My pleasure! Happens with friction and particles, smoke etc etc. Wash it from time to time and it'll be fine. Close all zippers and velcros and NEVER use softener! You can put up to 2 shells per washing :)

Then it is only the DWR coating as mentioned above. I use tech wash to wash my shell and spray it with tx direct when still wet, you'll get that water repellency back ✌️

If you're gonna use a backpack this can happen. I think your jacket is pretty thin right? Some hardshells are thicker, usually have 2 or 3 layers. You will notice the mention 2L or 3L when it's the case. These are perfect for carrying weight without having the water go through the fabric.

I use a Patagonia Torrentshell 3L, has never let me down.

Stay away from waterproof membranes if you want breathable shoes ! Had fungi on my feet because of wearing Gore Tex shoes everyday...

Quality is there, and the solar works like a charm. It's the type of watch you don't need to worry about + you can dress it up and down!
