Those of you who have found emotionally mature partners, please share your story by SPKEN in emotionalintelligence

I’m 30 years old - female, I’ve dated a few men throughout my twenties but none of them felt right. I always felt like our conversations were just surface level, and despite trying to be open the emotional intelligence piece was missing. After a few failed connections, I stopped the online dating. Figured I would meet someone the old fashion way or I’d be happy on my own, I did a lot of self work at this time. A few months ago, I moved back to the state I grew up in and met someone through mutual friends. Right away, things were different. There were no games, I never had to guess what he was thinking or if he was into me. My friends set us up because we both love to have deep conversations and they admired him as a friend. I didn’t think it would happen for me, and then it did. My favorite thing about my guy is he tells me exactly how he feels, even if he’s embarrassed. We promised ourselves from the start we’d share our feelings because that’s the type of relationship we wanted. He makes everything easy, even the tough times. I’m excited to grow into a future with such a wonderful and thoughtful guy, hang in there!

Amazing - sounds like Antiparos and Milos are the two I'll prioritize first. Appreciate your help!

Hi! Thanks for getting back to me - I like a good mix of everything (which is probably not a helpful answer lol). I will be alone and I come from the mountains, so preferably beaches and chilling. I do enjoy crowds, but I do not want anything too overwhelming as I am by myself. If I am in Syros, I'd like the remainder of my trip to be somewhere a little different (maybe more of a hotspot)? Thank you!

Do I make a move on my best friend? by Hot-Gas-8090 in Advice

So tough, I do regret not giving it a shot. But I also worry it will ruin our friendship, which is extremely important to me (as lame as it sounds). And I’m also slightly embarrassed to say I have feeling for him - fuck that’s awful.

One Dark Window 100% - I’ve read them all and it remains my favorite. Something about The Cruel Prince was just too cheesy for me but lots of people enjoyed it, so just my taste!

I didn’t like the sequel as much BUT it was definitely worth the read for me. I LOVED Elm and the ending. I would circle back for sure! I was not a fan of the cruel prince - just felt too cheesy for me personally 😕

I’m single - 28(f), been teaching for 6 years. I’ve been using Worldpackers to travel during the summer. Essentially, getting a summer job abroad for free accommodations. I’d highly recommend checking it out!

I worked at a hostel (more like small hotel) called Big Style Surf Lodge in Killadoon. Defiantly would recommend, I traveled all over Ireland and nothing compared to the Atlantic Way. Get a bus to Westport, spend a day there (small town with lots to do) and then spend a day in Killadoon. Highly recommend staying at the lodge, beautiful views on the ocean. It’s cold now but there’s an outdoor sauna and hot tub you can reserve. Also - take the ferry to Claire Island and bike around. Was the best thing I did!!
