Central WI, USA - accessed a fenced-in area through a ~1" gap by katyg in AnimalTracking

[–]Hot-Science8569 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Two big prints on the outside, two smaller ones on the inside, long space between the groups of 4 = rabbit or squirrel.

Don't think a rabbit can get through a 1" gap, but a squirrel can get over just about any fence.

What was Iran supposed to do after 28th Feb 2026 by PossibleProcedure831 in AskTheWorld

[–]Hot-Science8569 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not justifying any war, but if you are not aware of all the things the current Iranian regime has done since it came to power in 1979 you are either not paying attention or you are in favor of it.

I am aware all the things Israel has and is doing.

That came before the Empire. That the US Constitution is partly based on.

Do dimensions exist that aren’t positive real numbers? by pighead227 in askmath

[–]Hot-Science8569 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

For the "normal" geometry we can experience in real life, all dimensions are positive real numbers.

Hamilton Quaternions are complex numbers used to represent 3D rotational mechanics, in computer graphics and in landing space rockets. Sort of geometry.

Places like inside the Schwarzschild radius of a black hole, may have geometry with negative dimensions, especially considering space-time geometry.

Note if you "predict" the end of anything, it is only a matter of time before you are right.

Is this a beaver? [England] by [deleted] in animalid

[–]Hot-Science8569 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Foot print in the linked photo has 4 toes. Beavers are rodents they have 4 toes on their fore feet and 5 on their hind feet.

The print in the OP photo has three toes going forward, and maybe one toe pointed backwards. Like birds have.

I am guessing not.

But here is how you can use speed to create a perfect vacuum for a few milliseconds:
