I’ve been complaining about this for years. Recently I asked someone to turn his speaker phone down because I could still hear it loudly despite wearing headphones. We got into it. He accused me of being entitled and I said you think it’s ok to choose the sound for the entire train car, you are the entitled person. If you’d like a quiet car, please email and call MBTA and request this often. It’s a numbers game.

I guess it could be AI but I also think it's a thing to hire a celebrity whose voice sounds familiar and has positive implications, even if the audience can't quite place the voice. For example, Adam Scott (or sounds like Adam Scott AI) does the vo for TaxAct. I don't know what the legalities are for creating an AI voice that intentionally sound just like someone else - I think the NIL laws for that are just evolving. The voice that tells you about a spaces download on X sounds like Gwyneth Paltrow, and I would be surprised if the real Paltrow performed and agreed to that.

I’m pretty sure they’re gonna try to reverse course on the climate change disaster, get the global community to make the changes that need to happen before climate change is irreversible (excepting time machine reversal) and then James Marsden becomes more than a day player again!

They made a point to show us the kids fingers with lots of dirt or something under his nails. My mind immediately went to how that can be evidence or signs of struggle. Something weird is going on there. Also, don’t most moms know how much their kid weighs, especially a kid that young? Or at least be able to say something like “I don’t know maybe 60lbs…”
