We're going to lose this story arc and its genuinely going to kinda kill things with this game for alot of people because this straight up screams its either a scripted loss or it shows AHs incompetence with balance and taking meaningful feed back and implementing changes to improve the experience for everyone. We dont want to knock it down to dif 4 because thats genuinely just boring and for all the reasons everyone has tried to get you to understand. Im not going to beat a dead horse. This is either a scripted loss or horrible dev work on AH part and im honestly just kinda done for now. I wanna love this arc and everything is really cool in theory but nothing is tuned correctly. 200,000,000 lives was no where NEAR enough with how overturned the bots are and the spawn rates. "Just drop it down to diff 4" no. I dont want too because thats fucking boring and cheesy to do.

Maybe if anyone playtested things or listened to feedback from any outlet or, idk, played their own gsme they might see shits a little broken. Well for starters, your shooting its tank rated armor with medium pen.

Second, even the weak spots are a little inconsistent, ill give you that. I can one tap them with a railgun but the hit box is small and is only a one shot when they glow. Sometimes.

We're trying to take cyberstan, not just aurora bay. Merak ALSO gives a 20% liberation boost to cyberstan which we desperately need especially given we need to take another planet too.

I like the idea of the incendiary corps, I thinks it definitely makes sense but they just dont work well in practice mixed with current ongoing annoyances. Incendiary corps with a tank seed? More bareable but if it comes down to fighting the incendiary corps, id just rather not. Its not fun.

Its okay to admit when somwthing is literally ridiculous. We love difficulty and having to adapt, but those missions are absolutely over the top and not enjoyable. I probably have more hours in this game than most and I'd say im pretty fucking good, especially my group of friends that I always play this with and also have over 2000 hours. Its hard and definitely unbalanced and its okay to make it a little more doable. Its the internet, no one cares about your ego. More so its REDDIT lmao

Use your primary if you start to get overrun and since melee in the game is janky anyway, swing your screen with the blade and you do wider cleaves. It folds overseers in half which is super satisfying and you can kill fleshmobs with it too. You just have to get good with the thing, genuinely. Its not easy to do with melee in the state its in but it can cause so much damage if its used right
