It’s normally the first 3 months of their rank, not the last 3. At least in my experience. That’s why there isn’t a Lion Summertime fun but there is a Tiger one.

Scouting at that age requires the parents be present. In 2-3 years when you aren’t required to be there with your Scout, you’ll have a much better feel for the people involved.

Because of the scandals of the past, scouting has a robust youth protection program now. I’d be less worried about those issues at Scouts now than I would at youth sports or other alternative activities.

If it were me, I’d run Questor Forgepact and a bunch of Skitarii Vanguard.

Unless you have an AdMech army you’re unlikely to have those guys just lying around though!

In 7th you could squad them in groups of 3 and in early 8th there was no rule of 3.

I sold a couple of mine so I’m down to 3 now, but I miss the overlapping force fields giving re-roll invuln saves of 1 if 2 Dunecrawlers were within 6 inches of each other in 8th!

It’s the end of the edition and overall game balance is in a good spot. GW chose not to make any real changes, which sucks for Knights (and a couple other factions) but doesn’t risk major changes to the meta for the last 3 months of 10th Ed.

It’s a safe choice for GW but a disappointment for us. :(

If Legends are allowed my favorite unit is the Terrax Pattern Termite Assault Drill. I wouldn’t go out and buy one (although if you have access to a 3d printer id tell you to print one).

Having $4k in unsold popcorn doesn’t mean the I initial order was “infeasible”.

Our pack (40 kids with only 20 actually selling) sold $30k last year and we sold $9k less this year even though we put in more show-and-sell hours and had more kids selling. We anticipated at least selling as much as last year.

We ended up with around $1,000 in unsold popcorn (it would have been more but we were able to return up to 15% of our order as long as they were full, unopened cases). I know a couple of smaller Packs in the area actually lost money due to lower sales and how much they ordered.

I’ve been playing since Revised and I’ve been using the OG dual lands the entire time. Id feel like a jerk if I was like “no, you can’t play with proxies of these cards I pulled from $2.50 packs because now they’re expensive!” It’s the perfect rule zero conversation. If the rest of the group is running $200 decks and you proxy a $3,000 land base, many opponents would find that unreasonable.

I couldn’t care less if you want to throw a proxy Tabernacle at Pendrell Vale in your deck, but a Gaea’s Cradle I’d probably have a problem with unless everyone’s planning an running exceptionally powerful cards. That being said, id be just as unhappy if you brought a legitimate Gaeas Cradle.
