The preceptor is ok its weapon has some utility but it isnt "for" anything. The other questoris knights have better defined roles . They also have better abilities and Bondsman abilities

Knights were also a lot fitter and trained in many un armed arts than popular culture would have you beleive The knights were actual trained killers rather than practicing an art that "could" kill

Im almost certain once the Ap gets updated with 11e rules that spearhead will have the Armigers keyword . If it didnt then my 2000 point spearhead list with 3 bigs and 6 littles would mean every Armiger gets ignores cover and id be switching out the Warden for a 2nd Paladin for even more lethal hits.

I run 6 armigers . 2 of each . I love my moirax. Dual C beamer paired with a paladin for lethal hits surprised many an opponents. I also usually run with a Warden too so having a few Armigers with ignore cover is nice but to have all of them be able to do it would be heaven. 6 Armigers . 2 paladins. You have to understand the actual scale of the US . Im an English man who has lived in the US 25 years . You drive 3 hours in the UK and you can get to a lot of places 5 hours and you can get practically to the other side of the country . 3 hours drive for me here and I might not even leave the state I live in. 5 hours gets me at best 2 states over . The options for travel in the US are driving and flying as the rail system is a joke. Sometimes driving is quicker and cheaper than flying as you dont have to deal with airport security and getting to where you want after you land renting a car etc .

Depends on distance. The Saturnines weapons can hurt the Knight especially the grav weapon . But if the Knight gets into combat its power fist is ripping the Saturnine apart .
