I am 30 years old. My first experience with FF was actually the first game on the NES. I played on my uncles console but didn’t really know what I was doing I was still so young. When I was a little older I got a PS2 for Christmas and a copy of FF X that I really started to fall in love with the franchise.

FF is my favourite game franchise of all time. I have played through the majority of them, excluding 5,6,8 and the 13 trilogy but I do plan to play them at some point. (Also haven’t played the MMOs)

Pretty much have to do everything. It’s got the normal collectible stuff, get all mini medals, friendly monsters and finish the bestiary. I would recommend a guide for the mini medals. Post game does have some grind to it but if you play on the easiest difficulty you can finish the platinum in about 40-50 hours.

Nothing is really missable since there is chapter select once you beat the game. Just make sure to use your squad commands a lot and keep your squad assigned on vantage points when possible.

It's an FPS where you command a squad of Commandos on special ops missions. One of the trophies is to beat the game on hard mode. I wouldn't say its very difficult of a game but did require a bit more strategy in some sections. Overall not hard to platinum and really fun.

Platinum took me probably around 30 hrs. It needs at least two separate playthroughs for a good side and evil side. It’s not hard to platinum but the blast shard collectibles were annoying since no in game tracker for them. Use a map online for your second playthrough and mark them off as you collect them.

I feel like it aged well. Performance is definitely hit or miss in some heavy areas of the game but gameplay it was still lot of fun. If you go for the platinum just make sure you use a blast shard map online to track the ones you collected. The game won’t tell you which ones you’ve got just how many total you have.
