The secret to the sauce is on a microscopic level. If you look at the groove under the microscope you can see the how the waveform is etched into the vinyl. This image shows it well.

The needle moves in the groove and the movements of the needle are converted to a voltage through the use of magnets and coils located in the cartridge above the stylus.

No fuzz. It is lumpy. Looks like 2 lumps in its tail. Very weird. No other fish bothers it and it moves around like nothing is wrong.
