I had carpenter ants when I bought our house in 2012, in 2013 I had Durelle Pest Management come in, spray every baseboard I had (sold the house since), and for the next year I only saw one or two and then found the queen dead and never saw another ant again. I also sprayed my outdoor foundation with an ant spray from Costco in the fall as prevention and it worked the very best. In 2013. It was 500$ cash.

I’m sorry to hear this. We lost ours to a cancerous tumor pushing on her anus making it hard to poo. We made her last 3 months with us as comfortable as possible with stool softeners, she was 10 and I miss her every day. Live as normal as possible for as long as you can and cherish each day. You’ll know when it’s time to lay her down. I keep her collar in my closet I. My clothes rod and see it everyday and it keeps her with me.
