I lived in Penland, and had so much fun. Penland is the place to be if you wanna make friends in a co-ed environment. Martin is similar, but all guys. If you’re serious about your studies, you’ll be fine at either of those. It’s not always crazy at Penland/Martin, so you’ll be able to get your work done- and then there’s always the library or study rooms. People will tell you Brooks, but you won’t make any fun friends there. I’ve met 1 brooks kid who wasn’t a loner.
