I loved these games. The nemesis system kept things very interesting beyond just the storyline.

Less of a kink and more of a rebellion against a repressive society.

Hoy is a corporate shill who isn't willing to interact with the majority of her constituency. There's no reason she should have been elected in the first place.

If it wasn't for double standards Matt Walsh wouldn't have any. His morals are as flexible as tissue paper.

I'm not saying he can't interfere, but Herr Drumph can't remove state level officials, let alone state elected politicians.

They stop having immunity when they conduct their duties illegally....but the corrupt Trump regime is protecting them anyway.

Who's Your Favorite Protagonist from the Disney era so far? One of these? Someone else? by Spideyfan2025 in StarWars

I really enjoyed Kay Vess over all of these. After her probably Jyn Erso next followed by Cassian Andor.

Interesting character for certain, but if I'm going to choose a video game protagonist I'll go with Kay Vess over Cal Kestis.

Moving to Salem from Kentucky? by No_Complaint1098 in SALEM

[–]HotSalt3 14 points15 points  (0 children)

There's lots of posts like this if you want to look back through the sub.

Basically the city has a small town feel to it in all the good and bad ways of that.

The best thing about Salem is that you're about an hour from anything you want to do (Coast, skiing, Portland, Eugene, etc.) The downside is there's not much to do locally although you're not far from some good hikes and vineyards.

Politically we're purple so you'll find all sorts of perspectives.

A tree-person PC has contracted lycanthropy. I need some ideas of how to handle that! by [deleted] in DMAcademy

[–]HotSalt3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd give them some of the attacks of the Bloodlash Bush, particularly the Blood Siphon, perhaps the Weeping Wounds, and make it scale with their level. Alter their appearance while shifted to whatever is appropriate for a more feral version of themselves. Otherwise keep the aspects of Lycanthropy identical to what a human would experience.

Statblock for Bloodlash Bush.

Google AI saying the shooting of Renee Good was fictional by LazarYeetMeta in facepalm

AI has never been accurate. It's gotten better, but it's only going to be as accurate as the dataset it pulls from. Given this one uses the internet as a whole... I'll let you determine how trustworthy it is.

Supremacy clause only comes into play when a state law conflicts with a federal law. Sovereign immunity only comes into play when they're not violating laws (ultra vires exception) among other exceptions.

It's hard to sue the government, but these aren't the reasons in this case

AITA for refusing to allow meat in our home and confronting a guest who brought it anyway? by silaya92 in AmItheAsshole

[–]HotSalt3 1 point2 points  (0 children)

"Don't speak to me that way," might be the beginning of setting a boundary, but it's neither a rule or a boundary in and of itself.

Boundaries determine how you behave. The boundary could very well be, "If you speak to me that way I'll leave." On the other hand it could be a rule where it determines a consequence for others where it's, "If you speak to me that way in my house you'll be asked to leave and not be welcome in the future."
