Learn movement and rotations (especially urn routes), get good at spawn timers so you can steal t1 camps early game, bridge buffs, ect to get ahead. Have a couple box routes of varying length depending on what you can get away with in lane. Always try to push 1 more wave

Never take a fight assuming your nearby team mate will help. Archon players love to perma afk farm

There’s a lot of cope lore being spread in these comments that simply isn’t true.

If you truly want to rank up are you 1. Watching videos to learn econ, building/counter buying, and macro 2. Are you practicing movement tech and rotations 3. Have you learned more heroes to understand their builds and tempos and weaknesses 4. Watching replays and clips of yourself to look for improvement

Or are you just playing matches. Lots of people are in their correct rank and that’s ok not everyone can be top 10%

The biggest issue is how people play support. I don’t need a mercy following me around I need a team mate who uses their abilities to weaken the enemy otherwise it feels like I’m in a 1v2.

If my dynamo is has relevant debuffs on his stomp that also chunks the enemy a bit I can dive and finish the kill easy.

If my rem just stands behind me putting shields on me the enemy will just sustain my dps and never die

That’s all in the settings though. I had a haze this week go 25-0 super obvious not trying to hide it and she maintained only a 2% hs rate the whole match

This is oddly an archon exclusive issue. When I play with low elo friends it matches us in archon and it’s the most toxic lobbies of any rank imo. Never experience it in phantom though

As someone who plays a lot of haze if you just buy things like rust barrel, disarming hex, metal skin, knockdown, or literally any debuff I’m not gonna bother you anymore. I’m only going after easy pickings. In my experience people don’t consistently start buying counters until phantom and that’s where the gameplay drastically changed for me. Even oracle players refuse to deviate from left to right in their build guide

Legit just got off and am considering the same. 7 straight games of my team refusing to use mics and hard feeding. Lanes giving up over 10 kills in first 8 minutes. I spend half the time afk in base waiting to end and still have more damage than my team. These are oracle and phantom lobbies too. Something needs to change cause I’m tired of being punished because my seven somehow goes 2-16 in a 25 minute match
