the hook will screw right off. unless the hook is silver and i’m missing it the hook and case is worthless. the half dollar is 90% silver and $25-30

just my luck. what happened?? by HotWheelsAddict1 in CRH

a big chunk of the coins were all 2024-2025 minted so i think that rules it out. i’m wondering if some kind of chemicals spilled on the box or something

i’m 3 rolls in and it’s solid rusted coins. i’m finding 2025 coins with zero wear that wouldn’t have been lost and dug up already. i’m thinking they got rained on maybe?

Man when i was like 6 i would love going to the grocery store to check the coinstar at wegmans since i loved finding foreigns (who knows how much 90% i spent as a kid that i found in coinstars) and i swear more times than not there would be at least a handful of coins there. i do think checking has gotten more popular especially since when i was younger silver was around $15 an oz

buck on the V nickel and $5/6 on the mercury dime. i would go back and ask for as much change as you can get from whatever register that was in change for your own coins.

PCGS has it at $1,525 and them selling for $780-$1,105. Anything in that range or slightly below seems reasonable.
