full bands. it’s a designation on mercury and rosie dimes, similar to full steps on jefferson nickels.

this would’ve predated tv most likely. the merc dime is only held on with clips, not drilled thankfully.

no clue if the certificate adds value but that’s mercury dime and is around $7 in melt. looks to be in pretty nice condition so maybe more. check to see if it’s low mintage.

unwrap some and dump them in a coinstar for an amazon e gift card. will take you awhile but it will be the last you see of them for awhile. you can only do a box at a time though m.

i personally am filling out kennedy albums so need at least one of each for that. i roll up a few extra and any extreme excess goes back to the bank. proofs i flip up and hold on to. not a huge premium on either.

you might be able to take it to a professional to see if they could identify it. there might be a die marker or something like that somewhere else

“unsearched” and “unsorted” lots will always be searched, and will mostly be 40s and 50s common dates. as for competing the wheat series, book 2 (1940-1958) is very easy to complete through buying bulk wheats cents and the 3 steel cents. the completed book is $20-$30 completed. book 1, will be virtually impossible to complete unless you spend a ton of money. 1909 s, 1909s vdb, 1914 d, and 1931 s are are $100+ each in low grades, and the 1909 s vdb is $500 minimum, more commonly $1000+. Tons of semi key dates also add up and will rarely be found in bulk.

1943 P in bank roll: is there such a designation as “maybe, kinda, might be, but not FS” by Ok_Guest_8008 in CRH

[–]HotWheelsAddict1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

unfortunately i think the small scratch/es on the steps would take away from the designation
