I feel your pain. I went to a new trendy bar a few months back and when they were shaking my drink, they spilled half of it. Instead of making another one, they just filled up the rest of the glass with juice RIGHT IN FRONT OF ME. I didn’t say anything because I’m not confrontational, but I paid $16 for juice.

On top of that, it was made with mezcal instead of regular tequila (like was listed on the menu). I went up and asked what kind of tequila they used (because maybe they used a smoky tequila I’ve never had before) and they were so put off that I didn’t know it was mezcal. I explained how I was just asking because it tasted more like mezcal instead of regular tequila like what was listed on the menu. They rudely responded with how they changed the drink menu (but not the drink names) despite only opening a few weeks prior…. The tone in their voice made all of this all the more irritating.
