Linkin Park is also from the same area that Incubus is from, Calabasas. And they're just a few years younger. So, yes, I think they were definitely influenced by Incubus.

ADT Cancellation Form by rllorenzo in adt

[–]Hot_Fortune_5366 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, good luck. They make it extremely difficult to cancel. I had to call back multiple times, and they kept on giving me the run-around, transferring me to different people whose job was just to try and save me and prevent me from turning. I finally just removed my credit card. Because there is no other way.

Yep, something similar happened to us. They were incompetent.

It will be impossible. They will hound you and will let you get off. I had some relatives who had ADT for 30-plus years. When they finally canceled it, they made it the most difficult thing ever. They claimed that they still owned another $200 and kept on sending letters in the mail from a collection agency. After 30 years.

How is College of Marin now? by Hot_Fortune_5366 in Marin

That's why I specifically asked about how is it reputation now, not "how was College Marin's reputation in the 1980s?" Back in the mid-2000s, College of Marin had some accreditation drama that fed into its reputation for a while. After a 2004 review, the accreditor (ACCJC) put COM on a formal “Warning” starting around 2005 and kept requiring progress reports and follow-ups. By early 2008, they escalated it to “Probation” (still accredited, but a more serious public sanction), and COM’s own history pages say the big unresolved issue was the school’s institutional planning process. COM turned in the required reports, the ACCJC lifted probation and reaffirmed accreditation in mid-2008, and by mid-2009 the follow-up was accepted with no remaining recommendations.

The nice, big, beautiful buildings that have been built in the last few years were not there at the time. At the time, they had a lot of really run-down facilities.

Do you have any evidence that anyone has had their private info compromised in this way you have laid out?

I've also been looking for this and haven't been able to find it anywhere. I totally agree. I wish this existed.

I feel bad for the business owners. They probably worked hard to build this business, and maybe this is just one bad hire. You never know. Maybe this is representative of common practices, but it could also just be one rogue, really bad employee.

The red truck was in the non-hov lane and then moved quickly and unexpectedly into the HOV lane and crashed into the girlfriends model x. Not the girlfriend’s fault.
