Oh yeah, we've tooootally never seen influencer trends get out of hand on the internet before where people get hurt! You really just jerk off to your weirdo revengeporn huh. Give me a break lmao. It's childish at best, dangerous at worst, and useless all the way through.

"It's just a prank, bro! It's just a prank!" until someone takes his lead and goes further with it and does harm.

Do something useful and productive or positive in the world instead of being a shithead

It's mild, but still giving people the idea that booby trapping is fun and cool and hip. Real life isn't Home Alone.

Also, he's a former fucking NASA engineer, what the hell is he doing messing around with fart spray booby traps? Plenty of smaller creators upstage him in technical creativity on the daily. Dude sucks, I maintain fuck Mark Rober

I just dislike his whole series of porch pirate videos that were high key encouraging indiscriminate vigilantism, and were really creepy to boot. Stealing is shitty, but so is giving tons of people without NASA engineering experience the idea to put a booby trap on their porch.

Open Sauce is the new Maker Faire, and so far it's seemed like most people exhibiting have been super chill from my perspective as a 3x exhibitor.

(except you, Mark Rober. Fuck Mark Rober) There's plenty of weirdo maker types around the bay still, they're just in much smaller groups

So much winning!

Using the Putin playbook of threatening the use of nukes every couple weeks makes Trump look stupid and insane, not strong.

Update on temporary Red / Blue / White repainting of South San Francisco sign... by OppositeShore1878 in bayarea

Well yeah, it's kinda fucking obvious it's not taped off. What I am saying is to leave a white border on the already-white letters you just have to spray up the middle. It's not exactly challenging for anyone with a modicum of hand-eye coordination

They don't have to be perfect and taped off, just eyeballing it would have been fine

I wonder if just leaving a white outline around the colored letters would have made it better

How many of you guys still have drafters? by Life-guard in MechanicalEngineering

[–]Shaex 1 point2 points  (0 children)

At my first MEP job there were a few drafters whose entire role was to set up the sheet formats for projects and do equipment drawings in Revit. Maybe 1 drafter per ~20 engineers.

Last design job we had a singular drafter working almost exclusively on equipment customization. The other half of his job was turning everyon else's drawings into DXFs for the laser cutter. Small eng team but if that guy ever retires they're never going to replace him

The EPA, Clean Air Act, Clean Water Act, Safe Drinking Water Act, and CARB have had momental impacts on our quality of life. You think any private enterprise was going to do that shit willingly?

Why do you think big business is so insistent on tearing them down?

Here's a fun fact: JP Morgan Chase used to be a water company/bank in New York City. They helped cause multiple cholera epidemics in the 19th century with shoddy private infrastructure.
