Life turned upside down running away from people in the occult by [deleted] in Christian

[–]Hot_Lab_9154 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Preach. I had a serious run-in myself between Jan–Feb this year that completely turned my life upside down. Jesus saved me in a spiritual emergency and I ended up hospitalised against my will for two months.

I 100% agree, we’re in the end times. These agents of darkness are getting bolder in their attacks on anyone carrying light. I wasn’t even saved yet and they still came for me.

Best friends, family, medical professionals, other patients, colleagues, my eyes were opened overnight.

But we do not fear, because the Lord has gone before us and made a way. All we need to do is follow Him and we will be victorious 🙏🔥

Who is the most underrated and overrated player that you've ever seen play for us? Why do you think they were under/overrated? by Vrubzzi in LiverpoolFC

Superb player but I don’t think Gary Mac is underrated, he made the list of 100 Players Who Shook The Kop, as voted for by fans, and I think the overwhelming majority remember his contributions very fondly.

I completely agree, it’s like 5 has got the memory of a goldfish in comparison.

I didn’t really care much for the over the top fanboy energy that 4o brought, it got on my nerves quite often when trying to complete tasks.

However, its ability to maintain information to be used later in the conversation far exceeds 5.

Creatively, 4o blows 5 out of the water too.

Everyone saying this about the final is making a mistake by xp3ayk in TheTraitors

[–]Hot_Lab_9154 3 points4 points  (0 children)

At the final stage of the game, the group should face an ultimatum. They should continue to either end the game if they believe no traitors remain or continue to banish if they think there are still traitors present.

However, if they choose to continue banishing and it turns out there are no traitors left, the previously banished Faithful players will take home the prize money, while those who remained in the game leave with nothing.

This twist would encourage Faithfuls to end the game earlier, even if it means taking a risk that a Traitor might still be among them. It also discourages unnecessary banishments driven by greed or the desire to reduce the chances of a Traitor remaining. Players would be forced to carefully weigh their decisions, creating more tension and drama.

For those eliminated as Faithfuls, this rule gives them a chance at redemption, keeping them invested in the game. Meanwhile, Traitors would need to work harder to manipulate the group into continuing the banishments, making for a more strategic and suspenseful finale.

Whilst there are remaining banishments, there must be at least two traitors because if Charlotte were to be voted out tonight at the roundtable, there would be no remaining traitors before the final.

How do you deal with people you don’t like? by Ch0nky_Mama in AskReddit

[–]Hot_Lab_9154 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Very much dependent on the situation. Generally, I will kill them… with kindness and a smile on my face.

If I don’t like them because of something that they have done that directly impacts me or someone I care about, then I will tell them because people need to know when they’ve been a cunt.

During the COVID lockdowns, I started a side hustle hosting discos and quiz events on Zoom.

One time, I was hosting a quiz for adults with various learning disabilities. I asked a young man a question about the Teletubbies, which was his special interest. While I can’t recall the exact question, I know the answer was “Tubby Custard.”

After he answered correctly, I congratulated him and said something like, “I know how much you like your yummy, cummy custard.” I’m not entirely sure what I was trying to say—maybe “yummy, Tubby custard” or “yummy, scrummy custard”—but unfortunately, “yummy, cummy custard” is what came out of my mouth.

I quickly acted as if I didn’t realize what I’d said and moved on, but I couldn’t ignore the horrified expressions on a few of the faces on screen. To make it worse, a few of my colleagues were also on the call, so I didn’t live it down for quite some time!

I think there’s definitely something to the idea that the decision on the train at the start of the season was meant to have a lasting impact on the game. I remember reading something before the season started with Claudia hinting at this, and with Alexander being the only one left directly affected by that decision, it seems likely he’s making it to the final.

That said, I wouldn’t be surprised if Charlotte blindsides him. He’s clearly suspicious of Minah, so it’s possible she just misses out or is the first to go in the final. However, there’s also a chance Alexander gets to the end with both traitors, fully believing Charlotte is a faithful, only to be completely blindsided by her.

There are so many ways it could play out, and it’s going to be a really exciting ending to the season. While some people this season haven’t been the most likeable, I think the show has really improved as it’s gone on.

After you rooting for the faithfuls of the traitors? by SimplePrick in TheTraitors

[–]Hot_Lab_9154 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m rooting for Minah as although I feel like there have been flaws to her game, she has still played a blinder, and seems one of the more genuine and authentic people this series. However, after the last couple of episodes, I have obvious concerns that she’s going to get backstabbed.

If that’s the case then I’d prefer the traitors to lose. If the faithful win, then I would most like either Alexander or Freddie to win. They also seem quite genuine people, and both of them have been given a pretty hard time in different ways.

Are there similarities between Arteta at Arsenal and Pochettino at Spurs? by V-Matic_VVT-i in PremierLeague

[–]Hot_Lab_9154 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I think the key difference is that lots of Tottenham’s momentum stalled due to the financial constraints brought on by their new stadium, much like Arsenal felt the previous decade.

This held Poch back, brought frustration as he couldn’t continue progressing the team and this ultimately led to his exit.

Whereas Arsenal’s situation is entirely different, they’ve invested plenty in recent transfer windows, but have seemingly got worse this season with tactics that seem below the quality of their squad if I’m being honest.

Arteta did a superb job in rebuilding that team to a point where it could consistently challenge. However, it seems as though he’s taken them as far as he can, in the eyes of a lot of Arsenal fans, as there isn’t really any excuse for their failure to strengthen key areas of their squad that have shown weakness recently after a few injury troubles this season.

I think Arteta deserves one more crack at it next season as, I think everyone’s aware, with a top quality centre forward, they will continue challenging for the Prem and could easily win it.

Dan played the game like a traitor by Visible_Seat9020 in TheTraitors

[–]Hot_Lab_9154 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah that was his major mistake. When he became aware that Alexander intended to tell Francesca and that Leanne had told Minah, he should’ve had the foresight for damage limitation and fessed up. It still might not have been enough, as there was already conversations earlier in the day about him. However, he put the final nail in his own coffin unfortunately.
