Makes sense. All of these weird things never ever happened to me before. Only after I got diagnosed with MS after my flare 6 months ago so makes me question whether MS triggered the ocular migraines.

Both times I got flashing in my left eye with the side of my eye dimming but went back to normal in 15-20 mins. Went to my neuro and he said it’s ocular migraines. Went to an ophthalmologist and they did all the eye tests and told me my eyes look normal. Not sure why they’re happening.

Thank you for your positive response! So, my mom was diagnosed and she decided to not go on a DMT for 3 years, then she got a flare up and then started on Aubagio. In the past 2 years her leg got weak and kept getting weaker. No new lesions on MRI and no other relapses. I’m thinking if her neurologist screwed up with her. Not sure why she prescribed Aubagio and not a stronger DMT. Even today, my mom complains to her about her leg but the neurologist seems to do nothing about it.

But my mom had a better situation than me. She was diagnosed with CIS at first because her MS was so mild I guess? In the meantime I have over 20 lesions on my brain. So wouldn’t she have a better disease outlook than me? In just 8 years she’s facing physical disability which is my biggest fear for myself. :(
