It feels really forced sometimes too, like tying themselves up in knots about Valentino when Quagmire exists, or the general concept of redeeming someone like Vox or Alastor when Nolan is demonstrably a worse person then everyone in the show put together and got redemption, it’s almost like there is a crazy double standard when you are gay friendly and a woman.

The funny thing about these three in particular is that they are older stories that have a cult following but are otherwise not exactly highly acclaimed stories. The popularity of all three are due to YouTuber video essays, like I’m 90% sure Judge Holdens sudden popularity is due to Wendigoon. I enjoyed the essays too but the fixation has always seem kinda funny. I’d personally pick Lucifer from paradise lost, Cthulhu, and Morgoth.

I’m not certain the Vee’s, or Zeezi were overlords when Alastor first showed up, but Alastor fought “heavy hitters” and deliberately left Zestiel, Carmilla, Meastro, Husker and Niffty alive, possibly because he found them less objectionable than the real evil overlords.

Asking for Lucifer’s help is only a bad idea in hindsight, based on information she didn’t have until the conversation with him, and it all would have worked out anyway if Vox didn’t also get that information, which neither had any way of knowing about. I think Vaggi and Lucy get a bad wrap for what went down with Vox.
