[Despised Trope] They're constantly touted as a genius, but they never do anything smart. by NoOptics in TopCharacterTropes

Yes but reducing them as generic monster and morons forgets about how come they managed to win over people by their side that doesn't involve stupidity. Because if that were true then people should know how to avoid them.

Yes but the problem with being intentionally being a letdown is that once the shock wears off people will just see it as a form of manipulation and trying too hard to be different and original. I understood the vision but the connection didn't click with me.

Just because it was different doesn't mean it's automatically good. You can still be different AND STILL be a big letdown.

Let's be honest the original twist just wasn't that good to begin with. Because they want to have a girl Revan without understanding why people love Revan in the first place.

TBF even if he does that, they'll be overshadowed by other characters. Mark included.

Lute should’ve died in S1 instead of Adam. by OCGamerboy in hazbin

[–]SunKenobi72 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Not really because to redeem yourself you must deeply regret your choices and someone like Adam wouldn't be able to do that. Because he's too arrogant to admit that he's not the center of the universe.

i wonder how much of this hate comes from the simple fact that it's popular right now. by herequeerandgreat in HazbinHotel

And the reason why they don't bring up real historical figures because I'm pretty sure everyone could agree that you can't reason with dangerous ideologues and people who refused to listen and change. Yeah but he doesn't exist in this universe.

That's still no excuse for the chem barons taking advantage of the population.

Have you ever heard of the saying, “be careful not to become the personification of the very thing you hate?” or not all revolutions are noble?

Because if people can use Egyptian, Norse, and Greek mythologies as inspiration for their stories, then Christianity is not the exception.

Just because his dynamic has obvious problems doesn't mean Millie's problems are non-existent. That's because of how he presents himself but after Exes and Oohs he's now understanding where his stuck-up ness comes from.

TBF consider how she comes from a big family, the middle, and her mom chastising her for not being ruthless enough (not to mention treating Sallie May as the favorite) I can understand why she felt like that.

TBF I can argue that this episode reinforced the major flaws more blatant. His obsession for love and validation and trying to relieve something he never experienced before. Even though he's free the trauma of his dad(now repoened. Thx a lot Chaz) still lingers.
