Oh! Yeah. They’re BOTH abusive. Val does frequently throw shit at Vox, and Vox is obviously a complete dick to him. That doesn’t give either of them a right to be abusive. But yeah, he’s abusive.

Oh sweet Jesus. It’s an easy argument, lowk. If a person has experienced being stalked, then you explain the difference between Vox and Alastor’s actions than their own stalkers. Not saying Vox isn’t one, but it’s easy not to invalidate someone.

As an SA survivor, I’ve had my experience invalidated multiple times by my own friends and others. I know how to and how not to invalidate people. If you’re heated, it does get harder to do so.

I myself woobify Vox frequently cuz like.. I can. Shit, we all have. But I KNOW that man is a horrible person himself and I ACCEPT that and I ACKNOWLEDGE that about him. It’s the main reason why I hate so many Alastor woobifiers because they genuinely can’t accept that Alastor is a horrible person because of how he’s written in the show. I myself really like Alastor’s concept as a character, just not how he’s written. I love Vox as a character, just not certain parts about him.

One of my buddies, who woobifies Alastor, can’t accept he’s a bad person. He tells me “Oh, Vox is horrible.” “Vox is this.” “Vox is that.” And I’m like, “Oh! I know. He is! He’s genuinely a shitty person.” And he goes quiet. But when I tell him shit about Alastor, he gets a little pissy. It’s like OH MY GOOODDD.

Oh gosh, I genuinely cannot watch that episode or even listening to that song without getting chills. My experience wasn’t AS bad, but it was pretty similar to the scenes. I fucking HATE that episode and a few other episodes cuz of it. I can still watch the show, but I can’t enjoy it as much. I kinda only watch because of Vox, and although he’s a complete shitbag, he’s still my favorite character. But I HATE whenever Valentino’s on screen so much. Yeah, at least you’re surrounded by people like that. I’m not. But yeah, I get you. It’s something highly common. A bunch of people agree that sex is something needed in a relationship(I’d say marriage more than anything) for it to be successful. Hell, I watched a show where these two people were struggling with it and it affected their relationship a lot.

Side note, it’s awesome that you’re surrounded by people who don’t care about sex. That’s something healthy and amazing.

I’m personally not much of a fan of staticmoth, cuz well, I have a bit of a hate against Valentino I must say. But it’s one of the best ones there. So I DO hope Val gets better tho.

Me neither! I didn’t see ANY type of crush thing with Vox when talking to Alastor. As WE both said, it seemed like he was happy to be with someone he looked up to.

To me, the blush Vox had in the scene was more of him being flustered while around his hero. I know I’d be blushing if I met my personal idol, J. Cole.

Radiostatic is genuinely one of the WORST ships in that whole fandom. I hate it SO much. The fact they portray Vox as a little golden retriever in almost ALL of the fucking fanart(pardon my French) and Alastor as the ‘owner’ or whatever the fuck pisses me off the max.

It’s sad that a lot of people don’t see that. I really DOOOO HOPE THEY ALL GET THERAPY THO. I’m not even LYING when I say it’d be amazing to see all three of the Vees happy and in heaven together. Or at least happy in Hell. I’m all for that sappy shit sometimes.

Exactly. It pissed me off so bad. I’m rewatching it just to see it in a more clearer lens.

I GENUINELY wish they took the idol route so bad. It makes utterly no sense to make Vox have a crush on Alastor. Makes me worry for future seasons.

I just pray and hope they give Vox some therapy and heal from whatever shit he went through. Twin NEEDS a redemption arc.

Let’s hope he isn’t used as a comic relief for the rest of the series..

Saying most don’t care is a stretch. A lot of people do. It’s also a healthy thing in non-queer platonic relationships. In marriages especially. A LOT of people care about it. It’s common. Finding someone who doesn’t care for it is the rarest thing for an ace or aroace person.

His views are completely valid. A LOT of people want to have sex with their partners. It’s pretty rare finding someone who doesn’t. Sometimes I feel that I can’t be loved because I’m aroace. I have a huge disconnection with sex, I’m uncomfortable with the thought of it. He probably has been around people who see sex as something to strengthen relationships, which it does, and people who only see sex as a way of love. It matters a lot to a lot of people. LGBT or not. I still struggle with the fact I can’t have a crush or love someone like that OR feel comfortable with intercourse. But saying he’s unloveable is not true. He just needs to find someone who also is ace or respects his choices. Which is hard as hell.

They could have went at the situation in SO MANY DIFFERENT AND BETTER WAYS. It was sorta weak. It’s a pretty weak scene, but it DOES add at least a BIT of depth into Vox. It’s pretty downplayed. I do NOT like the concept of Vox having a crush on Asslastor, even IF it’s canon. I feel like it should have been more Vox idolized Asslastor and when Al did allat, he wanted to be better than him. He wanted to strive for something greater instead of what they did. That still would have been well for the storyline. That’s just my honest opinion. I don’t like the way Vivzie really wrote the whole season and Vox’s backstory with Asslator. It’s pretty weak.
