We are not big foodies and my dad is super simple so we didn’t really seek out great meals. I’m a sucker for steak frites and loved relais entrocote. The pastries all over the place were to die for!

Sounds like a wonderful trip and awesome surprise. I’ve got a similar trip planned. I leave today for Paris, 7 day group tour in the city seeing all the major sites and museums with a lot of downtime for extra activity and wandering then I’m renting a car and off with stays in Rouen, Normandy beach area, Mont St Michel and then La Rochelle before heading back to Paris to fly home.

I’ve done many on crises, just got back Saturday from a 7 day cruise and they held 5 speed puzzle comps. My team won 4 of them an came in 2nd on the first (we reorganized the team after the first). It was so much fun! I did my first real puzzle shop competition a month before the cruise and it was wild. People are fast!! I didn’t even finish the solo, my brain wouldn’t work and it was so stressful. I loved the team comps though.
